Looking to try some comfort foods while on your way through the state? Come visit Dutch Pantry!

This was my second time visiting and have come to absolutely love the corn nuggets (they have whole kernels in them) and their tater tots have the best crispy crunch texture!

We ordered Beef Liver& Onions, Country Fried Chicken, Beef Pot Roast with two orders of corn nuggets. The sides were mashed potatoes, green beans, two orders of cole slaw, and two orders of tater tots.

Beef liver is on the drier side, so combining the coleslaw with the country fried chicken’s sauce to slather or dip the liver pieces in is recommended as a try.

Country fried chicken is an absolute must if you haven’t had it here. The chicken here is thicker than other places, which contributes to the juicyness of the meat and paired with the crispy fried outside is a wonderful textured meal.

At the end for dessert, we placed a dozen order of Apple Drifters which were fantastic that we took along with us. We got all 13 of them covered in powdered sugar (but you can do it without if you’d like).

The service here by the staff are quick and friendly and they tend to be busy both times we have stopped by.

Would not recommend, the only thing “good” was the apple fritters. The rest was either meh or bad. Ordered roast beef and while it was seasoned well, probably 90% was inedible unless you like fat. The mashed potatoes were instant so for my 2 sides I opted for seasoned green beans and ham and bean soup that they hail as something special- it’s not. It’s just ordinary ham and bean soup, the green beans had both a metal smell and taste. My son had sauerkraut and kilbasa- with tater tots as his side- not bad but nothing good either. The plate was mostly tater tots- I thought the portion for the main dish was rather small. The rolls were store bought and either left out to sit too long or stale because the edges were hard. They list the pies as homemade but the coconut meringue was either store bought or made with canned coconut pudding- it was definitely not homemade. The only thing we would go back for were the apple fritters- they come out hot and coated in powdered sugar- worth every penny! I told my waitress why I didn’t eat my roast beef and green beans as well as the cashier when she asked how everything was. Both apologized but neither offered to discount the bill or ensure my satisfaction in any way. I probably would not go back unless it was just to get a to go order of the Apple fritters, or possibly try breakfast.

There are two locations that can be seen from I-80 You will find an American owned and American staffed establishment, with very fair and reasonable prices. It has nice older style comfortable decor. This is the best “diner” ive been to in years…atleast a decade.

Great atmosphere and food at the one we went to. We tried another one a few days later, wasn’t the same. Had the meatloaf, Wife had the Ham was great. Also tried the shoofly pie, tasted to me like a snicker doodle pop-tart

Outstanding !!! – we were on a trip to Duncansville PA when we spotted Dutch Pantry. The food was delicious with very large portions and extremely reasonably priced. They have tons of choices in the menu. The staff were wonderful as well. They have gift shop items at the front of the restaurant that were all very reasonable as well. They have also have desserts to take home – we ordered 2 orders of the Apple Fritters (13) in each order – they had them ready when we were done eating and also have us separate containers of powdered sugar with them. I can’t say enough good things about our experience- we will definitely be back even though we live about 2.5 hours away. You won’t be disappointed. A+++

Was a bit disappointed here. Thought it was going to be good Ole fashioned food. It was like eating a TV dinner. Frozen beans and fake meat patty and instant potatoes. While edible, just sad it was not what was expected. Service was friendly and atmosphere great! Very busy.

Coming from a Road trip all the way from Denver to New York my friend and I stopped by this restaurant as we’ve been CRAVING real food for days. We were seated as soon as we entered, little to no wait time for breakfast. Our waiter Kayla was amazing at making us feel welcomed and guiding us through the menu as I’ve never had this kind of cuisine. Everything was made fresh and came to the table with the quickness. My friend who’s from the south loved it so much as it reminded him of his grandmothers cooking. If we ever get the chance to pass through town well definitely be back again

Great little mom and pop diner version of cracker barrel. Great food and friendly wait staff! Always stop here traveling through PA. Our favorite are the creamed corn nuggets. Great Reuben, oriental chicken salad, and chicken Parm.
