My girlfriend and I went to this bar for their One Direction Galentine’s event on the 12th and had a nice time for a bit. Our server wasn’t communicative and disappeared for moments at a time, while also leaving empty glasses on our table the whole night, as well as adding a tip onto our bill before we even got the bill (turned our $60 bill to $72) but the food was good. That’s the only compliment I can give this place because what happened after we finished eating ruined the night for us. I saw this bald white man with a goatee being friendly with these guys playing beer pong and thought he was with their group, but when they left he was the only one who remained. I couldn’t tell if he was a random or the manager because after looking through reviews, we found a picture of a man of the same description having his picture taken right outside the bar with the sentiment: “The food and employees were great. Too bad the manager dropped the ball so much.” I believe his name was Andy. He sat at a table behind us right next to the stairs leading up to the stage and waved at my girlfriend. I turned around because I noticed she waved back and when we made eye contact he waved at me. I thought nothing of it but still kept my guard up. He then proceeded to come up and grab a stool to sit at our table and said “I’ve been watching all these people the whole night and you two look like a lot of fun” or something of that nature, and we said thanks. Didn’t think that was an invitation to sit down with us but he followed it up by asking if we minded him sitting down, which there was a loooong pause and awkward smile exchange between me and my lady because we’re already not feeling this. I said “nah, we’re just enjoying ourselves right now” and he kept repeating “It’s okay if you don’t want me here” and I repeated the same thing, but he then started talking about something else and put his stool down to sit. Great. Now he’s here.

We’re clearly both uncomfortable because we just stop talking while he stares at us. He makes a couple of comments joking about how I’m handling the awkwardness and I am lost on what else to say because I already said no which should’ve been enough, he made jokes regarding customers just having fun on the dance floor, he made comments about how our love looks so real that it’s fake to him (apparently he doesn’t believe in love and after looking his name up and seeing multiple court cases under his name regarding staff misconduct and being predatory, it adds up) and worst of all, he made a couple of sexual jokes regarding my girlfriend because he offered to buy us drinks and we said no because she was sick (sore throat) and he said “sick of that dick?” I was so stunned that a complete stranger would lack basic social cues and would break that out thinking it’d be a good line but he then apologized a bunch to me for saying that to her. Then she pulled out of cough lozenges for him to understand she’s genuinely sick and he said “birth control?” He then tried guessing where both of us were from and wouldn’t stop trying until he got it right. He couldn’t guess my lady for a while then when we gave him the answer, he stormed off just because he couldn’t guess her ethnicity.

The night was ruined and she wanted to leave, so we started leaving and there he was. Posted up by the side of the door way leading to the main floor. Before we started leaving, I alerted a nearby security guard about him before knowing he was a manager so I know he won’t be dealt with. He stopped my girlfriend from leaving and said “no no no don’t leave!” and she moved on past him, to which he stopped ME and said “where are yall going?” I said “We gotta go. It’s late.” He said “aww come on don’t go” and I said “We gotta go.” He then threw his arms up. I attached a picture of the guy because if any of you see him again, beware. He will force his way into your gathering and be beyond awkward. And I challenge whoever responds to these reviews to put away ChatGPT and actually address this complaint YOURSELF.

We visited this bar on our last trip to NYC and had a good, memorable experience. Our hostess, Luna, was attentive and had great recommendations for us, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We were excited to return, but unfortunately this recent experience fell short of our expectations and left us disappointed…beyond disappointing. As a result, we won’t be coming back and would not recommend it.
We ended up at The Red Lion next door instead, and it was well worth it. The service there is fantastic and, most importantly, consistent.

Initially, I visited for brunch between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., as the website did not specify that brunch service is exclusively available from Friday to Sunday. This was quite disappointing after a considerable journey. Additionally, we ordered a mega watermelon punch, but the alcoholic content seemed negligible. Furthermore, for a watermelon-based drink, its color was not as vibrant pink as anticipated. On a positive note, the overall ambiance was very serene. My friend and I attempted to use the pole, but its surface was excessively dry, almost causing friction burns when attempting to slide down. Finally, encountering a bartender who admits to not knowing how to prepare drinks is a significant concern for an establishment of this nature.

We stopped in for a drink prior to dinner reservations. We sat at the bar. We wish we could have stayed. The vibe was fun and the drinks were strong!

Few things wrong with the place
1. They have $5 drinks if you post a BeReal for them. I was asking our server Diana the options for $5 drinks and as she was listing them I picked the mango marg. She brings us our drinks and I show her my post and tells me I was supposed to tell her earlier. I replied back with “we were literally discussing the BeReal drink options” when I told her I’d want that one. She says no worries I’ll get the overcharge canceled. At the end of the hangout when we ask for the check is when she says her manager said they couldn’t void the charge(it’s not like it’s difficult to void a charge). And then for whatever reason she’s like I’m so sorry ☹️ would you like another drink . Like no first you overcharge me, waited too long to tell me, and we’re checking out asking for the bill why would I get another drink.
2. They handed out these seasonal menus and everything we tried ordering was apparently sold out for the season. Not sure why they would hand them out then to begin with
3. We wanted to keep a menu for the table and apparently this place is so stingy they don’t have enough menus to go around.

Overall bad service and high prices not worth checking out or going too. Nothing stood out about this place.

Nice response. Love that person who responded was not our server and is speaking on events that they were not there for. Super helpful gaslighting! Our whole group had issues with the service and your staff was fully in the wrong for my valid complaints. Good to know the management sucks too.

I would love to give this restaurant a higher review, but I cannot as they canceled my reservation with NO call, 1.5 hrs prior. This reservation was for a party of eight, all related, and some have not seen each other for a decade. If I would not have checked my email prior to arrival, the night would’ve been ruined. Luckily I was able to find another location and we had a great time. I would highly recommend a phone call if your restaurant reservation is canceled, it’s just good customer service and a professional thing to do. I will definitely never be a customer of this restaurant.

Food was okay. I ordered the wings. I visited here twice. The last time they applied a tip to my final bill without my consent and at a ridiculously high percentage. I went ahead and tipped not knowing this until I checked my cards account. This practice is a non-starter for me so I will not be visiting this establishment again. There are plenty of other choices in the area so do yourself a favor and walk on by Wicked Willy’s if you’re ever in the neighborhood.

I visited for brunch with a party of 10 and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations. The bottomless drinks were extremely watered down they tasted more like flavored seltzer or spritzers than actual cocktails.
We politely asked to speak to the manager to see if our drinks could be made stronger. Instead of acknowledging our concerns or offering a solution, the response came across as dismissive and lacking accountability. We were told the drinks could not be adjusted, with no effort made to meet us halfway or improve the customer experience.
At that point, we paid our bill of$160 for bottomless drinks that were essentially spritzers that we didn’t drink and decided to leave in fear of retaliation towards our food. The overall interaction left our group of 10 feeling uncomfortable, especially due to the poor approach in customer communication and service recovery.
Brunch should feel welcoming and enjoyable, and sadly this did not. I hope management takes this as an opportunity to improve how customer feedback is handled in the future.
