Additionally, the ambiance is beautiful, with a welcoming and vibrant vibe that enhances the dining experience. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or a special occasion, Hampton Social offers a lovely setting to enjoy great food and company. Highly recommended!
We tried the octopus, Caesar salad, and honey glazed salmon. Every dish was fresh and absolutely delicious. The octopus and salmon were especially outstanding — cooked to perfection. I would definitely order them again!
My significant other and I ordered our Oysters and Pizza at 5:49PM, we proceeded to wait until 7:20PM to be served. The wait time was exceptionally long, and ultimately the Oysters were incredibly small.
While waiting for our food, we watched another couple walk out due to the wait times.
What was even more frustrating, is that when arriving we were told we needed a reservation to be seated, so we weren’t allowed to sit outside or at a table, only the bar.
Before/During/ and After our dinner there was seating inside as well as outside for guests, yet we weren’t allowed to sit at those tables.
I also watched others get turned away because of this reservation requirement that opted out of eating and left entirely because they couldn’t be seated.
You lost money by turning away guests when there was plenty of seating, your host and hostess told me you had 210 reservations, I didn’t see that at all. And you frustrated your current guests as well, by providing exceptionally long service.
I haven’t been this frustrated in a long long time. The manager did comp our drinks for the inconvenience.
Ultimately, I can be understanding of wait times for food, but to not allow us seating outside or at a regular table when you clearly had the capacity, that’s beyond frustrating.
I’ve eaten here in the past and I doubt I will ever be coming back to this establishment.
What truly set this visit apart, though, was the service. It was phenomenal across the board — attentive without hovering, friendly without feeling scripted, and genuinely focused on making sure the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Every interaction felt natural and professional, which goes a long way in elevating a meal from good to memorable.
The atmosphere was surprisingly quiet, which made it easy to have a conversation and enjoy the evening without competing with loud music or crowd noise. That calm, polished vibe worked perfectly for a relaxed dinner and made the space feel more upscale and intentional. Pricing felt fair for the quality of the food, drinks, and especially the level of service provided.
Overall, The Hampton Social Burr Ridge absolutely earns five stars. It’s a great choice for a relaxed dinner, a date night, or anyone who appreciates strong service paired with solid food and cocktails. We would definitely return.
The biggest letdown was the $21 sausage pizza I got to go. It barely had any sausage or cheese, and it was really burnt. I really wish I had said something to the waiter at the time. For the price, that pizza should’ve been way better. I am sure the pizza is normally better than this but for some reason the person who cooked it didn’t care about the product they served to their customers that night!
I am pretty disappointed. Next time, I’ll just make the trip to Chicago.
