So I had the chefs choice sashimi 26 pc with the crunch roll. The sashimi was so tasty and fresh it sort of melted in my mouth, yummy yummy. We also got like 9 other rolls that I don’t know the names for but can vouch, that every one was better than the other.

Takara Sushi is such a solid spot, especially if you’re going with a group. I went with a bunch of friends, and splitting the bill was super easy. They had us order on our own personal sheets, choosing exactly which rolls we wanted, which made everything way less stressful and super organized.

They have a huge variety of rolls to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. The half-off deal is honestly amazing, especially as a broke college student—it makes it easy to try multiple rolls without feeling guilty about the price. The rolls I ordered were really good, and I genuinely enjoyed them.

Overall, it’s a great place to go with friends for good sushi, good prices, and an easy, low-stress dining experience. Would definitely go back.

Tried Takara Sushi for the first time and probably won’t be back. The food was bland, ordered four different rolls (both raw and deep-fried) and they all tasted basically the same. Not much flavor overall.

The ordering system is confusing. You’re expected to write your order on a piece of paper, which also lists their half-price sushi. No one explained this to us and when we asked how it worked, the staff acted like we were a burden for not knowing. Definitely didn’t feel welcomed.

When we got our sushi, two rolls were on the same plate and we asked which was which. The server gave us a look like we had just deeply offended him.

At one point, we tried to get more wasabi and made several attempts to get the attention of our server but she actively avoided eye contact, not just with us but with everyone around. It felt like the staff was doing everything they could to not engage with customers unless absolutely necessary. Just added to the overall uncomfortable vibe.

Overall, the service was cold and uninviting. Not the kind of experience I’d want to repeat.

I’m giving it 2 stars because it’s not the worst sushi I’ve ever had, the food was edible. But the experience overall was disappointing. The pricing is also misleading. Half the menu is labeled as “half price” but the other half isn’t discounted and costs $18–$24 per roll, which feels steep considering the lack of flavor and overall quality. Between the confusing ordering system, bland sushi and cold service, there are much better options out there.

My first visit here and it was absolutely amazing. It was really busy, but the two of us got seated quickly. The miso soup was delicious and the sushi rolls were spectacular. Such a great experience! I can’t wait to go again.

For Logan UT this place makes great sushi… prices are great. If you’re feeling froggy and want to splurge on a specialty roll (not on the everyday half price menu) get yourself the lobster roll. Game changer! All the fried rolls have a similar taste and texture. I’d recommend you get the ten ten if you want a fried one, and spend the rest of your money on raw/fresh. We usually leave happy and satisfied. Occasionally though we branch out from our normal rotation of rolls and find ourselves disappointed we didn’t stick to what we know is good.

This is the best sushi I have ever had! Granted, I am Utah-born and raised but I have honestly driven 2+ hours just to eat here. The staff is great and very helpful. The location is clean and unassuming.

We went during a rush and they were still able to seat myself, husband and two young boys quickly. Food was great and brought out quickly. Our soup was steaming when they brought it out. Seemed a little pricey for soup and for the portion they give you.
But I would go back again, very delicious food!
