Old-fashioned Italian-American restaurant with plentiful portions of pasta, pizza & panini.

Tried this place out and really enjoyed the food! Husband loves the pizza! The only thing I didnt like was how small the place was. When people walked by or stood by you, they were very close to our food. I would definitely come again though.

Sarafino’s is truly a great spot for Italian. The food is simply delicious—I loved the signature Sarafino dish (grilled chicken, red pepper sauce, mushrooms, and butter, Parmigiano cheese over fettuccine). My tablemates raved about the Chicken and Veal Parmesan too. It gets busy, but the popular food is absolutely worth it! A must-try.

They do not take reservations. We got there at 5-5:20 and had an hour wait but was well worth it!

Very good Italian restaurant in Crafton PA. The bread and oil was excellent. I ordered the Meatball Panini which was very good. On my personal Italian restauran food rating scale, Sarafino’s is deserving of a 4 Star rating. They have earned my repeat business. Recommended.

This is a local Italian restaurant in a small town. While the food is very good and there are varied menu choices at a reasonable cost, it is just too small and congested. The staff is polite but they are too busy to handle the flow of customers and takeout orders. EDIT: I ordered the Linguine White Sauce no where did it say it was spicy, it arrived covered in red pepper. The waitress said it was not problem to return they didn’t want someone to eat something they were not happy with, fair enough. I noticed the food was returned very quickly and seemed more liquidity than before but didn’t really think more about it. When I ate the leftover at home I noticed red pepper still in the food ( sorry but I am spice adverse). The kitchen just rinsed the original dish off with water and sent it back.

I read the reviews looked at photos on Google and I’ve always wanted to give this restaurant a try. My Wife and I took our daughter here for her 24th birthday. Overall we enjoyed our visit but there were some cons for us. If you like an extremely small environment that doesn’t get much air circulation then I guess this would be good for you. It wasn’t for us. It’s very small inside. To be honest the food was just average. Nothing special stood out. I had veal parm, my wife had Alfredo, and my daughter had chicken parm. We all shared antipasto salad. The salad was warm which was not pleasant. The other dishes had overcooked pasta and my wife’s Alfredo was flavorless. Maybe my expectations were too high for the food?? As for the service…the staff were friendly for sure but we never were asked how our meal was nor did we get asked if we wanted a refill on drinks…not even water and it was hot and stuffy in there. I was actually sweating! It was our 1st time there and We most likely won’t return. I’m sure it’s not loss to them because they’re extremely busy and probably will always be busy but it’s a no for me.

Went there for work Christmas party and the food was incredible!
We started with salad for the tables, which was so fresh especially with their house dressing and then we moved on to 3 different types of pizza for the table.
It too, was so good!
We were also treated to beans & greens that had a little kick to it as well as their bruschetta.
Just when I thought we were done, they brought out 2 different pasta dishes!
One was capellini with agliolio sauce- perfect for us vegetarians and the other was bolognese pasta, that was a huge hit.
All in all it was a great dining, experience- my biggest complaint is the place is incredibly small. Our tables were in a corner of the restaurant but there’s only about 10 tables in the whole place.
They really need to expand!
The tables are so close together, you can barely get down the aisle and you’re constantly getting bumped by the people’s chairs behind you. On top of that, it’s so loud in there and you can hear every conversation going on around you:/
It’s not a good date night restaurant because it’s so hard to talk but the food is so delicious!

What an incredible find! This little Italian spot is truly a hidden gem. The food is out of this world — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and comforting, and even the salad dressing deserves its own fan club. The sandwiches? Next level. Every visit has been consistently amazing, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. The staff brings the whole experience together — friendly, funny, and genuinely happy to have you there. It’s the kind of place you tell all your friends about, and they end up loving it just as much. Worth every mile of the drive — 100% recommend!

Things you want to know:
1. There are plenty of delicious appetizers if you’re just in the mood for small bites.(but don’t stop at the small bites. Move on. The food is so good.)
2. It’s BYOB, so don’t forget to bring your favorite bottle or 2—
3. They offer a variety of options, from pizza and sandwiches to really nice entrées like crab cakes and pasta—something for everyone. The portions are large.
It’s not a large place, so make sure to have a backup plan in case there’s a really long wait. We wish they took reservations, but honestly, if you do have to wait, it’s worth it. We’ve waited a few times, and we love it here and keep going back —- honestly it’s good for pizza if you are looking for a good pie with your own fave wine —- Plus, the servers are all amazing!
