I went for the dollar snacky hour deal between 2-5 which is apparently actually 1.99 so I got 2 thinking they were a dollar it’s the exact same price as just ordering a 4 piece mozzarella stick. Then got the saddest looking chili cheese dog I have ever seen. It has basically no chili or cheese.

The ONE unfortunate employee working the widow was nice and friendly, but for ordering on the app the wait time was lonnnng and the food was gross. Nothing was hot. So, I don’t know if that’s why the tots and chicken bites tasted like old oil or what. And while the hamburger was cooked all the way through, and barely warm, it too had an odd taste. Why did I give this food another chance?
The young man working was doing his best making drinks and also bringing orders out to cars parked, but there were 2 employees outside power washing the drive thru that I think could’ve helped him out.

New year and the drive thru is still terrible. Waiting 10 to 15 for one or two cars to move forward is absolutely insane.

Not sure how this location stays open. After waiting more than 10 minutes in the drive-thru line, and watching three cars in front of me leave rather than placing an order, I drove around only to notice there was absolutely nobody in front of the person waiting to order and more disturbing, absolutely nobody could be seen in the restaurant itself!! I know at least one person was there because I saw the person waiting in the drive-thru speaking to someone through the speaker. It also looked like there were a couple of people eating outside. If this location is short staffed, it appears it would be more cost-effective to simply shut down for the day rather than ignoring customers. Shutting down for the day would irritate people, but The lack of service received today will prevent me, and probably many others, from returning.

Our entire order looked like this yesterday. Pretzels, corn dogs, fries, mozzarella sticks. The ENTIRE order. How the hell do you see food like this and STILL serve it.

Ordered a diet cherry limeade, small mozzarella stick and a corn dog. Drink did not have any fruit and was filled with ice (almost to the top). Mozzarella were okay, cheese was more cold and chewy though. No sauce (although I asked for it). Corn dog was very dry and stale. Again, no mustard or sauce, even though I asked for it. Overall, worst sonic I’ve ever been too.

I paid 11 dollars for a BLT sandwich. And I got 4 little pieces of burnt bacon on my sandwich. That was it! Why would anyone even serve that to a customer??? This was the Sonic Drive In on Burlington on North Kansas City

I am unsure why this place can’t seem to get it together with service and food quality. I constantly ask for packets of picante sauce and or jelly while I place my order, only to drive off and it’s never in the bag. I usually have to ask again at the window and even then after asking a 2nd time, I’m handed my food only for it to not be in the bag. I try to support and order the bacon brioche breakfast sandwich only for it to ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS BE BURNT! Not to mention the amount of sausages in the burrito. Idk if they need to use smaller burritos or not but this is completely unacceptable. I come to this location because of convenience but clearly I am going to have to spend the extra 5 minutes to go to Quiktrip down the street. I’m actually extremely upset about it.

I wish i could post a picture! Gross! The sandwich was so gross; there was about a quarter cup of mayo on the sandwiches, and burned-out teeny tiny bacon- but to ask for help from this store & staff would be a mistake because they’re untrained and it would take all my lunch time. Just gross And they don’t know how to split a ticket- and will not train staff. I work near, and 3 out of 5 visits are just awful.

They took 30 min to take my order. Extremely slow service. Kepft figuring it would be soon. Wish i went somewhere else. Could have gone to most sit down restraunts and been out in the time the food came out. Extremely disappointed
