I stopped by Wendy’s in West Hempstead for a quick lunch while working with a client, and it hit the spot.
The cheeseburger was tasty, with fresh ingredients, and the fries were perfectly crisp. I also grabbed a Caesar salad, which was fresh and satisfying. To top it off, the vanilla Frosty was smooth and refreshing.
The service was fast, and the staff was friendly—just what I needed for a quick, efficient meal. I’d definitely recommend this spot for a reliable lunch on the go!

The food itself was pretty good. I won’t lie. The employees weren’t the nicest. It took forever to get my food. One of the employees gaslit me into thinking I got nuggets instead of tenders. There were only like three people in front of me and getting my place in line alone took like 20 minutes. I would’ve complained, but as I’m writing this, I’m going to the bus stop to go home. But if I Wasn’t so hungry at the time. I would’ve complained to the staff. I don’t normally complain online nor do I complain in general, but this is a special case because I like Wendy’s and this is the only Wendy’s near me within semi walking distance. It wasn’t Great. I was in this Wendy’s having a cup of coffee while waiting for a LIRR train; the station is very close to this Wendy’s. As such I can’t speak about the food, but it seemed standard fast food restaurant food.
The service was nice and I appreciate that they did not bother us even though we were just having coffee.
If you have to wait for a train at the West Hempstead LIRR station, this seems the closest place you can wait and get out of the cold It is about 10 minutes from the station to this location.

The new owners, who I think are actually running and managing the store themselves, have really improved the Service. The speed at which you now get your order is amazing. Hot food is hot and cold Frosties are really cold. BIG improvement from before.

I won’t be going back to this W. Hempstead Wendy’s location again. The food & the service has drastically declined over the years. The food is stale, nothing is fresh, not even a simple salad or a sandwich. The people are unpleasant. Going forward, I’ll drive the extra 5 minutes to Franklin Square.

if you wanna have some occasional fresh nuggets served with a very bad attitude and around the clock locked restrooms go here. Don’t even think about expressing your concerns to the elderly Spanish lady in charge with the salt and pepper hair because she’s always rude herself so she doesn’t care and obviously was poorly trained as well. Just saying if you want to have an enjoyable experience with your family; eat and you think you might have to go to the bathroom really bad don’t go here it will be locked indefinitely and they play around to give you the key and make you wait a really long time to relieve yourself. They are weird.

I assume that with everyone used to dealing with the drive through it took 20 minutes to get someone’s attention to come to the front to take my order.

I found food in my hair. They should be wearing hairnets when making the food, this is disgusting. I will not eat the rest of the food due to not knowing what they could’ve been touched with. Who knows if they were wearing gloves either since there’s hair in my food
