I was present during the situation involving the Sisters Elevating Sisters catering order with Rib & Loin, and the experience was extremely disappointing.
The main issue that has still not been addressed is how a catering order was delivered without any credit card, deposit, or payment on file. It is difficult to understand how a restaurant would send out a large catering order without confirming payment first or even making a phone call to clarify the situation. A simple call could have easily prevented the confusion.
Our organization had placed an order for a meeting, and due to the restaurant delivering a second order without confirming payment, Rib & Loin ultimately received two payments totaling over $1200. For Sisters Elevating Sisters, which is a local nonprofit organization, that amount represents funding that is meant to support community programs.
Rather than working collaboratively to resolve the misunderstanding, the interaction with the manager, Stephanie, was unfortunately very unprofessional and dismissive. Even more surprising, our organization was told we were banned from Rib & Loin, despite the fact that we made the effort to handle the situation respectfully and ensure the restaurant was paid.
Local businesses and nonprofits should be able to work together in good faith. Clear communication, professionalism, and customer service go a long way in building those relationships. We hope the restaurant’s ownership takes the time to review this situation and improve policies around catering orders and customer service moving forward.

My husband loved the rib had so many he couldn’t finish them all. Went with my young children. They loved all the Christmas decorations. I had grilled chicken bbq nachos. They were delicious. Kids had grilled cheese and chopped chicken with 2 sides. And it was cheaper than a lot of other restaurants. I use to go her as a kid and I love how it hasn’t changed much in 15 years.

This is *the best* BBQ restaurant in the Chattanooga area! It’s my go-to when I’m in the mood for BBQ. The sandwich is huge, and the BBQ plate is great. There’s lots of sides to choose from, all of which are good. They also offer desserts that are like ones your grandma made. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

This! An absolute gem. Perfect baked potato and slaw! (all I ordered.) The whifting smells of roasted meat in the parking lot, even (and I’m not even a bbq person). Lee Highway over near Eastgate Mall – you did far beyond good!

I had the 1/2 pound rib special and a couple beers. Very well priced! Only ribs i have ever had where i could even eat the bones. Very impressive! Not the biggest fan of steak fries, but they have many other sides to choose from. This is the only place i have ever tried that had made theor ribs so perfectly, that even the bones are soft and can be eaten. Blew my mind! Beer was also very well priced!

Food is very good and service was good. This place is almost like a hole in the wall. It doesn’t have very much street front property, so you don’t always see it or think about it. But once you stop in you’re glad you did.

We have been there for years to eat not a problem until tonight was so disappointing we both got the 4 rib plate and it smelled scorched and looked it. After today I will NEVER be back. Usually your food is VERY good and I enjoy eating inside. I got a drive through order today and it was pure nasty. The meat was tough and tasted like pure salt. I think you gave me left over Super Bowl bbq because it was nothing but tough and nasty. Shame on you. I been eating here for over 20 years and never a problem until today.

My friend from church asked me if I would like to have dinner with her one Thursday evening, that she had been craving some BBQ. The service was great! We had a loaded baked potato with pork smothered on top with their special sauce and we shared a small side of onion rings (which looked like a large). The food was delicious! And, little did I know that her and her husband were planning a surprise for me. After our dinner, she took me to our church, (Ridgedale Baptist on Hickory Valley Rd.), and her husband was standing there next to a car. A Lexus. FOR ME! I was literally in shock! Froze! I couldn’t even cry at first! God is amazing! And he has blessed me with amazing brothers and sisters in Christ and I am so grateful! God knew that I was in need of a better running vehicle and he put it on this couples heart to help me. God hears our prayers and provides all of our needs! So, I will always remember my first dinner here at Rib and Loin!
