Every plate tasted savory and rich. While it’s on the pricier side, the experience more than justifies the cost. This is the kind of place you go when you want exceptional food, great ambiance, and a meal you’ll remember. Worth every penny. Portion sizes are generous. Perfect date night dinner. Or even with the family. Will be adding to our list of favorites! And they also have a separate bar area that looks fantastic and offers its own inviting vibe we will be trying out!

Excellent food, plentiful portions; enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Dinners come with fresh baked garlic knots and a house salad with their delicious red wine vinaigrette dressing. Tristan was our server and he took excellent care of us on a busy Saturday night.

On our most recent visit, I had the Spaghetti Modo Mio (spaghetti and meatballs); their meatballs were absolutely delicious and I will definitely get it again. My other favorites are Pollo Carolina and the Trietto Alla Vodka, but with marinara instead of the vodka sauce. My husband gets the exact same thing every time: Penne Siciliano.

We’re glad to have a place like this in the area. Make a reservation, especially in the winter when the snowbirds are in town. It can get busy.

We came for dinner on a Friday night and got seated fast even though it was packed. The service was amazing thanks to Tulay. She tended to us so well despite it being busy. Definitely will return!

At The Vineyards Trattoria & Pizzeria in Apollo Beach, the kitchen delivers on its promise: tasty, well-executed pizzas with a good crust and fresh ingredients. The approach is classic, without creative pretensions, but technically sound, which is commendable in a trattoria that focuses on tradition. From a culinary standpoint, the experience had its positive points.

However, the service was severely lacking. We waited more than 20 minutes to be seated and over an hour to receive two pizzas. During that time, the entire dining room showed visible signs of frustration, with several tables expressing their displeasure. The waitress remained attentive and professional, but the complete absence of a manager or supervisor to offer explanations or address the situation left a very bad impression.

While the prices were reasonable, the overall experience fell short. Good food alone cannot compensate for a lack of organization and poor hospitality. The Vineyards urgently needs to review its management practices so that the delicious food isn’t overshadowed by long waits and customer frustration.

I’ve been here before and had a great experience, but this time at our pre-Christmas dinner I was truly impressed. Their holiday drink with RumChata, a coquito martini, completely won my heart. It was so good I had to ask the server about the ingredients, and they were incredibly friendly and attentive. Leonardo’s pizza was delicious, especially the glaze, which I really loved. The shrimp pasta was also amazing. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I went three weeks ago while working in town. The place was packed and was really hoping for a great meal. I ordered the Fra diavolo. The sauce was terrible and tasted like it came out of a can. Service was good. The most annoying part was the crappy singer one man band they had for live entertainment was terrible.

We saw a review on Google and stopped. They asked if we had reservations but we didn’t. The food was great but since it’s fresh it takes longer. Our family has 7 people so any over 6 there is an added 20% and then they suggested another 20% or 25% on top so it was more expensive. Meals more like $25 to $35 a plate.

On February 23, 2026 we have the unfortunate experience of dining at this restaurant. The complementary garlic knots were as hard as hockey pucks. When the server was informed, she said she would bring fresh ones, they never arrived at the table. The salad dressing was almost like pure vinegar, not an Italian dressing at all. I was not able to eat the salad. After 20 minutes, we asked the server where was the lobster bisque soup? Shortly after, a flavorless bowl of pink colored water was served. Did not resemble a creamy bisque soup at all. After another long wait of 35 minutes, the entrees were finally served. My companion ordered eggplant parm with a side of spaghetti. Very small portion of eggplant parm, the plain spaghetti was plopped on the plate with a scoop of not very good red sauce just sitting on top. The spaghetti was never put into the sauce to infuse the flavors. I ordered the Pollo Rustico. At first site, the dish looked very unappetizing. The thinnest asparagus spears still had the woody, non edible part of the stock still attached. The chicken cutlet was paper thin, burnt and overcooked. The mashed potatoes and sauce were good, the only portion of the dish that was able to be eaten. After about an hour wait to be served food like this, we just wanted to leave. When we paid the bill, we asked if the was new kitchen employees since everything we had was not good at all. We then explained everything that was wrong with the whole meal and that we would never be able to come back. Asked why we didn’t complain earlier, not necessary, not looking for more of the same bad food. Just pay and don’t come back. Just another mediocre Italian restaurant.

I love this place!! So happy to find this scratch kitchen right here in Apollo Beach !! I called ahead to see if I needed a reservation and while I didn’t, the hostess added one for me regardless! Great first impression! Our server was Jodi. She was absolutely amazing very patient with us as it was our first time. Jodi reviewed the menu with us waiting for any questions. She even offered extra bread while we waited for our meals. I felt the meals were spaced out really well. We had appetizers, salads and entrée. The food was absolutely amazing very much worth the wait for each course!! Everything had great flavor. Portions were great.. our meal consisted of Appetizers: bruschetta, Barrata, Caesar salad. Dinner: Salmon Piccata, Penne ala Vodka. Everything is really good and had great flavor. I would give this place 10 stars if I could! I will definitely be back and ask for Jodi!

This place is AMAZING! Food is incredible & the staff is so friendly! Portions are huge and prices are great! So full that we had to get our desserts to go! GM Christian & our waiter Michael made our first time here a fantastic experience! My only complaint is to myself for living in the area for 7 years and just finding this gem! Already planning our next meal here! Highly recommend!
