My Husband and I stopped here for lunch after it was recommend by a gentleman at the Henkel Auto Group. It was not very busy, we sat at the last booth. Our menus came fast and so did our drinks and free chips….

But it took probably 20-25 minutes for her to come back and take our order. (We arrived at 12:41, food came out at 1:19pm) our food came out within 10 minutes of us ordering…

She did apologize and everyone was nice.

The food was delicious and we really enjoyed it. My Husband and I each ordered the Burrito Especial with Barbacoa and white sauce. We also shared a tamale and side of beans.

The food made the visit worth it. Bill was $44.

We’ve been coming here for years, but this visit was disappointing. The salsa quality has declined, prices have increased, and we were served broken, burnt chips in a basket that was less than half full, along with a half-filled salsa. When we asked for fresh chips and a full salsa, the request was initially refused. When we asked again, we were charged for the refill.

I’m sharing this because it feels inconsistent with the experience this place used to provide. I’d appreciate hearing from management about how situations like this are handled.

$100 for three skillet dinners is steep for the experience.

Always a favorite in town. The food is consistently great and the service is down-home and friendly.

Edit: Some years back I stopped eating meat. Obviously, that makes eating Mexican food difficult and unfortunately, Nina’s doesn’t have many options.

I ordered a burrito with grilled veggies and declined the meat that is normally inside. I was charged an extra $2.50 even though I didn’t get any meat. I thought maybe it was an error so tried another time. The burrito was an extra $2.50 and tacos were an additional $1.00.

Honestly, to charge extra for some onions and green peppers that are on the grill already for fajitas and such is ridiculous. There were no special veggies they saved the cost of meat but charged extra. It’s a bit ridiculous and forced me to explore the other Mexican options in the area. Please change this.

I love Nina’s, the service here is amazing and they are so kind. The food is great I love the chicken tacos on corn, the free chips and salsa is good a bit spicy but bearable because it tastes good. I LOVE the cucumber juice, it’s perfect for a hot day. The prices are great also, good quality food.

Excelente, tacos de tripa dorada and barbacoa are DELICIOUS! Great service, but those flavors just bring you back to México. Awesome place for authentic mexican food, highly recommended!

I like the feel of the place. I ordered the shredded beef tacos, one of my favorites, and they did not disappoint. And the dip sauce was excellent. The guacamole wasn’t as good as La Cocina (too many tomatoes), but I just got a little taste of it. I’ll have to order a full bowl next time. Rice and beans were good. But I thought the salsa was better than La Cocina.

Asked for a steak egg and rice burrito that’s not on the menu and to add peppers. Charged for steak egg and rice but only received steak and rice burritos. Once I called five miles down the road back at my residence I got an apology and was told I was only charged for steak and rice. However, my receipts states egg on it. Should have been offered a refund or a free meal next time I come in.

I understand the shortness of workers in places especially restaurants and stuff..when we called in we ordered 2 birria plates they only marked us for one…we had 2 horchatas and a bowl of guacamole. Came to $50+. Im not sure but I may give them another try. If not, there’s others around.

Good food, beans and rice were awesome. Service was friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Chips and Salsa were good, I did notice on menu that refill on Chips and Salsa had a upcharge which is disappointing. Everything else was great.
