MUST TRY! Absolutely delicious, authentic Mediterranean food paired with top-tier service. The staff is incredibly hospitable and welcoming—you can truly taste the love and care put into every dish. The chipotle shawarma was perfectly cooked with just the right balance of seasoning. We also ordered the shawarma fries with half chicken and half beef, added hummus, and WOW—the flavors were immaculate. Even if you’re full, do yourself a favor and order the baklava to go. It’s incredibly fresh, not overly sweet, yet perfectly decadent and rich. This was our first visit, and we will definitely be back!

Service is wonderful. The owner was at the register. Offered wonderful suggestions. We got the chicken tikka kekab plate and the meat and lamb kebab both delicious. Delicious rice was well seasoned. The hummus was creamy and rich not dry. We will definitely be back.

I’ve always seen Mr.Shawarma Mediterranean Grill driving by, and until recently I came and ate here and I can honestly say the food is AMAZING! I’ve tried the shawarma fries, the buffalo shawarma, the hamburgers, the chicken and beef shawarma wrap and now it’s become my go to for Mediterranean food. It also has a kids menu, and the portions are great! I recommend coming to this place if you haven’t already! Oh and the baklava, DELICIOUS!!! Very juicy and full of flavor!

Visited this shawarma food truck today and I have to say it was an amazing experience!
Honestly, my expectations were low because of a previous experience at a popular shawarma spot in La Mesa, but this place completely surprised me in the best way. It’s easily one of the best shawarmas in San Diego. The flavors were authentic and absolutely delicious, and the chicken was tender, fresh, and perfectly seasoned especially when dipped in their garlic sauce.
I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be recommending this place to my friends for sure.

⭐ Very Disappointing Experience
I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I came in after the gym and ordered a meal that was unfortunately poor in both quality and taste. The food was not good at all, especially compared to similar shawarma meals I regularly get from other places for around $15. Here, I was charged over $22 with no clear explanation for the extra cost, and I have the receipt.
The service was also unprofessional. The staff member who served my food told me to go pick up condiments myself, which made the service feel careless and disrespectful. More concerning, the same person was cleaning the floor while serving food, had a cigarette on his head, and was handling customer orders at the same time. I have photos as proof, and this raised serious hygiene concerns.
Because of the food quality, overcharging, and lack of basic cleanliness and professionalism, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to others. I would appreciate a full refund for this experience.

Really delicious food, great presentation too! Multiple types of wrap to choose from and tacos if you wanna goes cross cultural! The chicken was cooked perfect and the bakolov was soooo good!!

Visiting from Los Angeles was near by at a family event and I hadn’t eaten all day decided to give this place a try because reviews seemed decent and it was really close. I don’t understand how anyone would review this place positively and I rarely give bad reviews as I try to make excuses. This place is really bad. I was going to pick up food for myself and my brother but as soon as I walked in I could just tell this place will be rough. So instead of ordering I decided to try out the shawarma fries as it’s such a simple dish , they totally failed. The beef/lamb is old and dry, the chicken is dry and tasted like old rotisserie chicken. The restaurant itself is dirty and you can see they don’t keep up with it at all. The service is not bad but not good just. Not friendly not rude. Nothing good to say about the service and nothing really bad. Food wise, I don’t think anyone will enjoy this place. Just overall a bad experience and a bad place.
I honestly think these positive reviews are either bought for and are fake, nothing else makes sense.

This place is not like any other place I’ve been to the food is really good with Mexican and Mediterranean food! My kids don’t like to eat what I like to eat so this place made it easy for all of us to enjoy what we like . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes good food and great service
