It’s been 10 years since we visited last time. Nothing has changed. Breakfast is good. Mine was barely warm. Now the decor and tables , etc is need of upgrade. Tears in chairs, tables chipped and even food on wall directly behind us. The bathrooms are the worse. Time for owners to remodel.

Me and my husband have gone multiple times in the last few months each time has not been pleasant. Each time the waitress seems very rushed and rude. The drink have tasted off it must be the ice because no matter what I order Dr.pepper, root beer, or water they all taste funky. This last time we went my husband wanted tots with his burger and a cup of chili on the side. About five minutes later the waitress said they were out of chili so he changed his order from tots to hash browns. She proceeded to go back into the kitchen about 7 or 8 minutes later and tell the cook we switched from tots to hash browns because there wasn’t any chili. The cook began to complain about us and toss things around the kitchen very loudly all while in complete sight and earshot of every customer. You shouldn’t be acting like that in front of customers if she was upset because she had already cooked them she should be upset at the waitress for telling her so late. Also while we were there a gentlemen across from us had ordered chips instead of fries. When he received fries he had told the waitress he wanted chips and she responded in a very rude tone explaining how he was wrong. He left very shortly after saying he was disappointed in his meal. Needless to say we won’t be returning which sucks because there’s not a lot of breakfast spots left in Mena.

Yummy yummy! I got the turkey bacon and Swiss sandwich and it was perfect! The portion size is right it tasted like a home-cooked meal but in the mountains! Lol the vibe was great. It felt like a little slice of heaven. Also shout out to Tanisha and Brittney . They gave us a good laugh and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend !

Service was great and we were seated very quickly despite arriving on a Sunday during a holiday weekend. Food was excellent! The biscuits are sheet pan style and huge! So delicious! Hashbrowns were nice and crispy the way I like them. They don’t take card, so make sure you bring enough cash.

We camped at Cossatot Falls for our anniversary but decided to camp simply without worrying about food. We figured we’d just find local places to eat and save ourselves some trouble.

The only problem was most of the local places were closed for the weekend which left us driving about 45 minutes to Mena where we found Skyline.

You get a lot of food for breakfast and most breakfast options come with a side of biscuits & gravy. I ordered the loaded omelet with potatoes and we enjoyed coffee refill after refill while we waited on our food. The coffee was good.

There was a wait to get in and also a wait to get our food but we enjoyed the experience of the decade old establishment.

I would go back. It’s an old school hometown diner with decent food and friendly service.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Just remember they close in the afternoon and they do not accept debit or credit cards

This is our third time eating here and second time here in Mena. Have gone out of our way to make sure we can eat here!

You won’t regret it!!!! And I would recommend the chicken fried steak meal.

Lovable small town Main Street diner and local fav serving American comfort food. Served quickly. I had the burger which was yummy and dh had the chicken fried steak which was fair. Atmosphere was homey. Loved the guest book map with puns from around the world. Definitely the Bk and lunch spot in town. Highly recommend.

If you haven’t stopped here while doing a Fall leaf trip, then you are definitely missing some good food! We had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and salad bar. Each of us agreed it was the best we had ever had. Super tender and perfectly cooked crust! Plus it had the perfect crust to meat ratio. Mashed potatoes are real potatoes! The salad bar had many salad options that brought back memories. Definitely plan to eat here again! Cost was $10.99 for the meal. You can’t beat that!

Ok, the only not completely positive is out of the way. Once you get past that…all is good. Haha.

Facility is older (I believe they said the business has been in that building over 100 yrs), but clean and comfortable.

Service is very friendly, coffee was kept full and topped off hot. I loved that it is served in random mugs like being at grandma’s or home, not a standard tiny cafe cup.

Prices very good, and well below average for what I see typically. (Though the coffee price sign is decor…not actual).

The biscuit was so good and fresh, loved the gravy, hashbrowns and everything else.
