Usually my husband and I sit in the bar, which has always been a great experience. Last night, we took family here and had some under 21 with us, so we ordered and sat in the family restaurant area. They didn’t have a table big enough for our party, so we asked to move a table over and were told it was against code but “sure” while being scowled by the manager. When our food came out, they asked who had the burger without tomatoes, while we could see the tomato on the burger, then the same but with pickles. When I said thank you for my food, I was given silence and an eye roll. The burgers were still good, the fries were good but had been sitting for a while. We’ll be going elsewhere, unless we can sit in the bar. Unfortunate experience, and even more unfortunate that it was mostly from the manager.

We have ordered takeout from Blazing Onion before and enjoyed the food. We received a gift card recently, and decided to go up there for lunch today. We were highly disappointed that the only seating being offered was in their cramped overcrowded bar, on a Saturday at lunch time. All the tables had been taken, leaving only bar seating. When I asked, the host said it was bar or takeout only. The entire dining room was empty. This might have been due to staffing, but it still was not a great experience. We ended up leaving, and eating elsewhere. There was nothing on the website or the FB page suggesting that the dining area has different hours.

I liked the variety and the atmosphere, easy to watch your your favorite team. Prices were a little high, I had the Blazing Onion burger which was so messy that I could not hold on to it and used 5 or 6 napkins. Server was great.

First time here. You order first then sit down. Which is fine, just didn’t expect that. Then the staff was so great. There was a mix up and the staff worked to get things straightened out. I truly appreciated the staff. One of my kiddos is high energy and the staff didn’t make any comments or glances! Most things have a spicy sauce or spice added. Probably why is called blazing onion. I enjoyed it but my kids not so much. Once again just a preference thing not a bad thing.

This place is trash. Mediocre burgers, cold soup, cold chili, and not very clean. And who thought standing at the host podium to browse the menu and place your order, before you get seated, was a good idea? (No one. No one thinks that’s a good idea.)
We were the only people in the restaurant area. The bar seemed lively though.

The biggest issue, that you didn’t even address in your response is the food. Everything was cold. As soon as I got my food, I tried the chili, completely cold. I called a server over to ask them to heat up the chili. They came back with a new cup of chili, same cold temp. So I flagged down another server, and stuck my finger in the chili while I asked for them to heat it up. She said “I’m sorry about that, I’ll get you another one”. I told her I didn’t want a third cup of cold chili and to just stick it in the microwave. Five minutes later, finally it was hot.
My wife’s soup was also cold, along with her black bean burger. Look at the other reviews, see how many other people get cold food here?
No I don’t like standing at the podium to order my food the second I walk in the door while other people wait behind me, but that’s a minor gripe.
Cold food is the real problem. I regretted my evening here.

Last night, 12/19/22, was the first time I’ve been back to Blazing Onion.
My hubby and I were there a few weeks after they initially opened, excited that there was a new fresh eating place in our area!
To recap, I was not doing reviews back in the day.
I had ordered a salad; unfortunately, I can’t remember which one that was or if that salad is still being offered. Nonetheless, our server brought it to me, plated lovely. As I started mixing up the salad, I noticed several pieces of badly discolored lettuce. As I pulled them to the side, more dark pieces started appearing, so I showed the server; she was in disbelief and embarrassed, very apologetic, and offered to have a new one made; I agreed.
Here’s the problem: the manager brought me a salad that took over thirty minutes to get to me and was way worse than my first salad; most of the lettuce was slimy with a bad smell, and yes, the manager presented that to me and disappeared. Our server re-appeared and was shocked; what could she say other than “I’m so sorry, and I’ll be taking that off your ticket”.
FAST FORWARD to last night. It was myself, my hubby, and my cousin dining out; we decided it was time to try them again. Although the food was a little better overall, my Impossible burger was beautiful, but the “meat” was overcooked to almost burnt, as was my hubby’s chicken sandwich. My cousin had fish and chips, she liked the fish and chips, but the coleslaw had a lot to be desired. I took a bite of her coleslaw and still can’t figure out what seasoning they put into it, but it wasn’t good at all.
Although our server, Christine R., was friendly enough, she did not bring me silverware for my salad or ask my party if they wanted any condiments; I had to seek her out twice.
So, that said, the bar area appeared clean, with no sticky menus, tables, or floors.
The lady’s restroom was acceptable but not perfectly clean.
Perhaps we went on a bad night, doubtful we will return for a long time, and all I can suggest is if you are curious, give them a try; your luck may be better than ours 😉

I really like this place, the food is consistently very good, the wait staff is nice, and it has a nice ambiance. We like to sit at the bar area because it seems like the other section is more for families/children and may not be full service over there? The fish and chips is pretty good, the salads are huge, burgers are great. It has all the staples with more gourmet/fresh qualities than say Red Robin. Good selection of drinks too. Took a star off because it seems like we rarely see the same bartenders/servers twice which may suggest it may stink to work there and they have high turnover. We are regulars and I think only one guy might suspect it. Lol.

To be honest I was not impressed. I have been coming to this place off and on for bout 4 years and I feel the quality has gotten progressively worse. I found my burger (teriyaki) to be soaked in the sauce with my fries undercooked and un evenly seasoned. My wife Mac & Cheese was even worse, all cheesiness promise in the menu up front was a false illusion of what was served. The noodles were plain and dry and the chicken was undercooked. In addition to all of this not only did it make my wife sick but our appetizers were unsurprisingly late and cold lacking a fresh flavor as well. I have loved this place in the past but the standards have definitely fallen and I hate to say this is not the restaurant I once loved, but an impostor. My host and server were ok and that is somthing but doesn’t make up for the terrible disappointment I recieved today. I don’t think I will come again

Pretty good place, I enjoy it. Had the pretzels and cheese and a classic burger and mocha mud pie. Seating could be bigger. Like that they offered sauces, got ranch and ketchup for the fries. They have happy hour, which I recommend.
