Plaza Bonita is our favorite place to go to in cottonwood to celebrate all of our families special days. Been going since they first opened almost 22 years ago. The service is always superb and the food is so good no matter which plate you order. Its clean and even the atmosphere is peaceful and cozy. Even their indoor plants are shiny. The bathrooms are always clean too. Wonderful place. 10 out of 10!!

We make the trip here every so often, even though we live about an hour away—because it’s just that good! This is hands down one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, conveniently located near Sedona.
I’m updating a previous review because not only did I capture some amazing photos of our food this time, but the staff also went above and beyond to accommodate our family, including our special needs son. Their kindness and professionalism never go unnoticed, and we’ve never had anything less than a fantastic experience here.
Now, the food—absolutely incredible! We can’t get enough of the guacamole, refried beans, salsa, Plaza Bonita Special, and chicken fajitas. And today, we tried the Flaming Brownie for the first time—what an experience!
Huge thanks to the entire team for another outstanding visit. You guys are the best!

This restaurant checks all the boxes—great customer service, generous portions, and an inviting atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented.
