Very disappointing experience. Ordered takeaway and only noticed once we got home that there were cockroaches in the food. This ruined our family meal and is a serious hygiene issue.

Visited Himalayan Rockdale and was really disappointed. The food tasted completely different from the Himalayan in Granville. None of the dishes had any flavour, and they tasted like they were cooked days earlier. The Paneer Masala was actually off, so I had to return it (they didn’t charge for it). Portion sizes were also quite small for the price. Sadly, I won’t be visiting again.

We had been a regular at this restaurant, love their butter chicken and cheese garlic naan.
This year we went for their iftar buffet, we were blown away by their arrangement. It has improved a lot compared to the past years, both by quality and quantity. The only thing they need to improve now is the hand wash area.

Absolutely do not order from this restaurant. The paneer was shockingly bad—hard, rubbery, and completely inedible, like chewing plastic. The gravy tasted spoiled and unsafe, and I genuinely question what was mixed into the paneer because it felt like a serious health hazard. This food should not be served to anyone. The naan was clearly not fresh and appeared frozen and reheated. This was a disgusting experience and a total waste of money. I will never order from this place again.

We attended a group dine-in, after which all of us experienced stomach aches and loose motions for approximately three days.
Notably, the only items consumed commonly by everyone was the Rasmalai. (it tasted a bit off than their usual taste and the sweet was broken into many pieces rather than just two whole pieces)

On a lazy Sunday evening, my wife and I decided to have dinner out…..again.so we drove to Rockdale and found an unassuming Pakistani Indian restaurant.
The Ambience and Internal feel:
Very clean, beautifully furnished, decorated in a cultural way with finesse.
The Menu Book:
I was not expecting much as most Indian restaurants have lost the authenticity of flavours and spices, but lo and behold the variety of food was vast. Usually, the menu book itself reflects much of the experience you are about to get. The menu books, one for food the other for beverage and dessert was very sophisticated in its binding, clean , no gravy stains. Well done.
The Food Ordered:
Half Tandoori Chicken/Allu Nann/Keema Nann/Lamb something, can’t remember, Kulfi/ Rosomalli and Dragon fruit cocktail or mocktail.
Tandoori was very tender and not dry at all. Very delicious. The lamb was exquisite, no smell, authenticity at its peak, amazing taste. The Nanns, filled with well Spiced fillings, and as per previous reviews I read, NOT BURNT at all.
The mocktails had a dry ice twist that enhanced the experience. Well done.
The Price : Compared to what we got, I have never said this, but they need to raise the prices, a bit.Ver affordable indeed.
Overall, value for money. 10/10 , Food was delicious, Service great, TOILETS were clean. Crowd, mainly Singaporean and Malaysian. Upstairs function Bangladeshi, and Uber eats and Menulog orders galore.
However, my small advice would be to change the commercial looking signboard which doesn’t reflect the internal treasure.
Thanks Himalaya.

My kids and I went to the buffet during Ramadan. $35pp the cheapest buffet in Sydney. They had a wide variety of VERY DELICIOUS Pakistani dishes to offer, including desserts. I can’t decide which was my favourite, as they we’re ALL so perfect. We ended up arriving a little late, so I couldn’t take many photographs. They kept refilling. The staff we’re VERY welcoming and kept checking up on us, refilling our drinks. Beautiful indoor setting with comfortable seating arrangements. Clean toilets and praying facilities are available. Booking is essential, as it’s always pretty packed. Easy and plenty free parking at the back. The owner gave us a discount, as it was my birthday . Thank you so much for the hospitality. I’m definitely returning back with a small gift of appreciation. Highly recommended

Ordered naan and achari chicken — absolutely delicious! The chicken biryani was just as good. Loved everything about this place. One of the best spots in Sydney.
