Had the kc burger and green beans side. Friends had some platters. All the food was excellent. Green beams were the best I’ve had at bbq place. Nice and buttery. Burger was awesome. I will gladly return when back in the area.

I was surprised to find great BBQ in Chicago. Burnt ends were delicious. The beans and sweet potato fries were good too. They even had sweet tea! Service was friendly and quick.

Everything I’ve ever had here has been phenomenal. Big fan of nachos and had them many ways at many places (mostly Mexican) but the unexpectedly delicious, huge, fully loaded pulled pork nachos here?- THE best nachos I’ve ever had! Also, no matter how hungry I am, I’ve never been able to finish them!

Great experience! Great food! Great service! This place is exceptional! The place is small and quaint, nothing fancy…Very clean environment. My boyfriend and I went for dinner for the first time one cold Saturday evening. And, let me tell ya; we were not disappointed…There’s baby rays sauce on every table fit extra indulgence…The food was amazingly delicious…The baby back ribs, tips, Texas case sausages, brisket, pulled pork & the sides were absolutely delicious…Oh, I forgot about the delicious sweet corn muffin. It was to die for. And, we had enough to take along with us…You have several food choices to choose from…You can get 3 meats and 2 sides for $27. The average cost for two people including drinks & taxes; is approximately $66. It’s well worth the price…Oh yeah, I almost forgot; the friendly female hostess was sweet as apple pie…She greeted us with a beautiful smile…She gave us a little history on the business and the two owners…Great story! Those guys worked extremely hard to build a great business…I recommend this place everyone…Give them a shot for you will not be disappointed…We’ll definitely be back again…Thanks for the superb service guys!

Went in for dinner, plenty of parking available. The restaurant has a smaller dine in area which may be difficult to get seating. There are lots of excellent barbecue options on the menu. I went with the pulled pork burger and fries and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back to try the other options available on the menu.

The restaurant is clean and well-ventilated, with prompt service. However, the BBQ ribs I ordered were not warm and the meat was dry, despite the tasty sauce, which diminished the overall BBQ experience. The side corn was flavorful but could become overpowering. The cornbread had an odd smell, reminiscent of my dog, and the corn muffin was neither moist nor overly dry.

Manager in register. Very patient and friendly. The only service we received was when he brought the food to our table. As expected. It’s a very small location . Old but cute and rustic. Food was perfect. Pork tasty and tender. We will return!

Loved the food; got the Ulitmate Platter and it was all nicely cooked and well seasoned. The white sauce wasn’t the best; but still tasty chicken. The ribs were great, the shredded pork and burnt ends were fabulous and the sides were good too. Definitely enjoyed seeing all the trophies and nice quaint place. I would definitely eat here again. Though it was enough for all 3 of us, it wasn’t an impressive amount.
And the sauce is always great. I’m sure it made someone a lot of money.
