My son and I had lunch here on Christmas day. What a great atmosphere and plenty of room and seating! The food was excellent and we had really good service! They offer oysters, crab legs, burgers, wings and many other great choices. I highly recommend this place and I will be back often, and I live 30 minutes away. Definitely 5 stars!

The food and drinks are good (especially the burgers). The live bands are great, but the regular DJ just runs the same playlist every week. They are usually out of some ingredients. Don’t try and get dinner after 8 on a weekend; it will be too busy and you will have to wait a very long time. Everything in there is kind of sticky.

Kaylie was our server and she was on it and a 10/10 waitress. The food was good, some things were a little salty but overall good. Atmosphere was ok, it was just dark inside and difficult to see the menu. I would say they need better lighting, but other than that we enjoyed our experience.

We came on Christmas Day when nothing else was open, so I give a great deal of leeway when writing this review. The restaurant listed all you can eat seafood boil on their website events for the day – it was the only thing NOT available. However, looking back it’s listed as an event everyday – don’t trust their online calendar. The restaurant was very understaffed and our poor waitress was running herself to death and clearly overwhelmed. Our food took a long time and was wrong. We waited for over 20 minutes after our food came out to get plates for sharing. The seafood was mostly overcooked in the boil, with the shrimp close to rubber. My daughter loved looking at all of the statues and running around, but I would not consider this place again beyond the novelty of the dirty fish tank bar for a 2 year old to be fascinated by. There’s much better food in every category two blocks in any direction. We also made a reservation several days in advance which no one had any idea about. It was “find a spot and we’ll get to you” at the door. I must reiterate, though, the staff was doing their best under the circumstances and I feel sorry for them

Came here last Monday for the first time with some friends. What an absolute blast! The band was phenomenal (a little too loud for the space) but none the less, an amazing time. Ended up getting a smash burger with fries and they were delicious! 10/10 will be back.

This unique concept of two places in one is pretty cool. Each side has a unique look and cool atmosphere. The food was pretty good and good size portions. Service however was on the slower side, she didn’t check in on us as much as I felt she should have with the amount of time we were there and they establishment charges you a 3% fee if you pay with debit or credit card. I’d go back but only cause it seamed like a cool place and I’d have to ensure I wasn’t in a hurry. Location has street parking so expect a small walk if you can’t find parking close. I loved the fish tank bar with real fish inside.

Tried this place because it was close to where we parked. What a find. Interesting place with a Blackbeard theme. 2 restaurants side by side, Blackbeards and Pirate’s Cove. Walked in Blackbeards and stepped into the next room to discover we were in Pirate’s Cove. We went with our waitress’s recommendations which were spot on. The Italian melt was big and served with quality meats. The smoke house burger was incredibly flavorful, dripping with cheese and caramelized onion. The battered fries were so good they didn’t need salt, pepper or ketchup. We will be back.

The food is alright. Took forever to come out. The burgers are good. Everything else came either overcooked or ice cold. My sweet potatoe fries were burnt. Our friend ordered “corn ribs” but what came out were 2 still partially frozen corns-on-the-cob.

Rated A96.5 for sanitation We stopped in for beverages and apps. Prosecco on drink menu is Lamarca. The atmosphere is nice: A lot of TVs to watch sports. 52 beers on tap. ATM and games on-site. Sister business is next door Pirates Triple Play. Service is great. Bathrooms are clean. For those with balance or back issues, the toilet is VERY low to the ground so use caution. Bartender is great!
