My burger versus the one that’s advertised … can you spot the difference ? Oh yeah, WHERES THE CHEESE ?! It’s literally advertised as a “omcheese” burger and it was a dash of shredded cheese burnt to the pan. I didn’t expect much from a place like this but dang the bar is lower than low 🙁
This is the second time I’ve seen the burger come like this. Don’t waste your money or time coming here if you’re expecting it to look anything like the picture.

I went here for valentine’s day, and I was so impressed with everything.
The menu was set to a smaller scope for valentine’s day, so the options were limited, which I personally think was smart. Food was served faster, and it was easier to accommodate everyone, Im sure. Really wish the pretzels were part of the appetizers, though.
My date and I both had the chicken and shrimp skillet, with the garlic mashed potatoes, and I got a side of fries to go with it. ( with A-1 sauce, since I was a kid I loved this)
My food was amazing. I mean absolutely delicious. ( I forgot to hold the onions, but it comes with mushrooms and onions) So after I extracted the onions, I cut the chicken up and mixed every fork-full with chicken, potatoes, and shrimp and it was honestly the best food I have had in a restaurant in a very long time. Immediately wishing I had more.
Everything was very inexpensive, the prices are all really affordable. The total for us was $44.30, so I doubled my usual tip to $20. Just such a great deal for us.
Waitress deserved it, she was definitely making a good impression for the place, and was the perfect waitress. She had a lot on her plate, Im sure, but we didnt have to wait or ask for anything.
Im definitely going back soon, this was the best money I could have spent.

I haven’t been to Applebee’s for about fifteen years. My uncle suggested it after church tonight. We got seated right away. We ordered off the 2 for $25 menu. We both had the house salad as appetizer and we tried the grilled cheese hamburger, replacing the fries with green beans. The veggies in the salad were fresh and crisp, the sandwich was tasty, and the beans came out hot enough to enjoy. Our server was quick and attentive. If it’s your kind of place, it was a pleasant experience. Just don’t mind the two old guys telling filthy stories after church.

We had a decent size table/ party. If it wasn’t for the apologetic server, I would have rated the experience 1 star. You could tell the kitchen communication wasn’t good because our orders didn’t come out at the same time and many sides were mixed up or missing. Couldn’t all eat at the same time because food came out at different times. Food was good. Not the worst experience but definitely wasn’t the best.

We ate here on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was quick and friendly. The menu has a wide variety of items and a full bar menu. The Riblets platter had tender ribs but they didn’t have much flavor. The fries were quite good and the coleslaw was very dry. I would not order this again. My dining companions really enjoyed their pasta and burger so we would go there again when in town.

Served undercooked chicken in my quesadilla last night; hoping and praying i don’t get sick; stopped eating it right away and someone comped it; i can only assume a manager? I found it strange that on one apologized and that i didn’t see a manager about something that is kind of a big deal. (I previously managed front and back of house at Applebees) This kind of experience will keep me away; too bad since i live less than 2 miles away. Very poor

Applebee’s is easy to forget, a weird place that one can overlook for other restaurants/bars. That said, it can be a fun place for a get-together; the staff are always polite and kind, the food acceptable, and the prices reasonable. We had a great time for my best friend’s graduation celebration!

I got a perfect margarita that was much less than perfect. Tasted like water, glass was rimmed with sugar and a maraschino cherry at the bottom. French onion soup looked and tasted like dish water. The waiter was new but really nice. He should check the food before he brings it out next time. Applebees on Robert St. DO BETTER and also train your bartender. I probably won’t be back to this one.

Went into Applebee’s for their late night happy hour, and Amber was our server. She was attentive and kind. Our food was flavorful and hot. I would recommend West St. Paul’s Applebee’s anytime.
