Can’t say enough about the Talk of the Town family. My step sister worked here. She passed away recently and The Talk of the Town crew made a wonderful lunch for us to gather and connect over after the service. The food is always great and there are good people here.

This has got to be the tiniest pizza I have ever received, used to order here all the time I don’t know what changed but a whole pizza is a snack now.

We were in town for a hockey game and was recommended this place. Walked in and was greeted but after we asked to be seated elsewhere (the heat vents were blasting) we felt like we put the waitress out… we put our order in and afterwards I asked her if they do “specials” she said yes and then listed them…. Any other place waitresses/waiters normally start off with that or have a little side menu for specials… we ordered hot dog (kids menu), wing dippers-chicken wings (came with fries) no sauce unless you asked, mushroom Swiss burger (came with potato chips), chicken Caeser salad and French onion soup. I had to pull the Lettuce off the burger as it was brown. Half the lettuce in the Caeser salad was brown.
I hope others have a better experience than us.

This place is a favorite of the locals here and has been around for many many years. It’s not fancy and the interior could use an update. But what it lacks there it makes up for in its great service, reasonable prices, and food. If you’re looking for fancy this isn’t your spot. The pizza is a bit unconventional but I really enjoy it, especially the delicious crust.

The food quality was substandard at best -chef du cuisine was Sysco, but I don’t even want to offend them. On the specials list was a steak sandwich with grilled onions and horseradish sauce 1995 I didn’t want french fries so I went for the onion rings after asking and confirming they were battered, not bread crumbed. My husband had boneless chicken wings, he would’ve been better off at McDonald’s with some buffalo sauce. What came to the table were dry overcooked brown golf balls with about a tablespoon of sauce. I had to go hunt the waitress down and ask her for a side of buffalo sauce. They were so insipid, we took them home to the dog.
I don’t know what my steak sandwich was some sort of a French dip. The au jus was way over salted and weak, the meat was overcooked like shoe leather (I can see why it was on the specials list, the oldest restaurant trek in the book to move out the old stuff) There was some sort of an onion reduction on that tasted like sour sauce. I couldn’t even figure it out and I’m culinary trained. The waitress did offer me a different side I chose mashed potatoes and gravy. The potatoes themselves were actually fine. The gravy again was like salt water and it was horrible.
If this were one of the restaurants that I ran it would’ve been a house cleaning Royale, but on second thought it never would’ve gotten to that. The dog didn’t really even want to chicken wings so that sums it all up.

Neither one of us has been here before. We heard they have good pizza, so we gave it a try. We ordered a Bianca pizza with cherry peppers, ricotta, mushrooms, and garlic and it was really good. We’ll definitely try other pizzas

We have been going there for 30 years. This time the pizza was undercooked and the lettuce had brown patches. It took about 7 minutes before anyone seated or paid attention when we arrived. When we told the waitress about our dissatisfaction another young waitress came to see if we were telling the truth. They offered to take the pizza and recook it, but that was not acceptable. The waitress we had tried to get the pizza removed from the bill, which I did not expect would happen. I did expect at least 50%. Then our waitress was only concerned about herself, worried we were blaming her. I did leave my name and number, but no one called. I emailed them to share my experience, but no response. It’s a shame.

Anytime I call and place an order it seems to dissappear or the staff is so rude that i just hang up. I asked for food to be cooked a certain way for my grandfather who has had a stoke and all I was given was attitude and told we don’t do that I’ve never heard of that. Another time place order go to get it and again wait staff is lost dazed and confused and never put in my ordered. Saying I never called when I showed them my phone call log they denied taking the call. Go to eat in and they brought out my husband good and i waited another 40 mins to get mine so kuch for eating together. Food is ok just go in person but they still will some how misplace something as always.

2nd time there in 2 months.came in tonight. 12/20/25 before that it was a few years ago.. we always give a place a second try.. my husband ordered chicken parm.. it was burnt, pink on the inside.. spaghetti was watered down.. I had alfredo..just plain ole alfredo had absolutely.. no taste, watered down..and served with spaghetti.. The salad bar was not up to par at all.. nothing was fresh.. had a little bit of lettuce, whatever wasnt brown… and onion.. everything else was mushy and did not look appetizing at all. Out of alot of stuff.. as I notice seated by the staff station there was 3 girls standing around talking, 1 eating another playing with her hair.. he other just looking around hanging out..I’ve been in the resteraunt buisness a very very long time… guess I notice stuff that others may not.. our waiter was great, as I know hes been there for a long time.. very attentive and friendly.. but thats the only good part about our dinner.. so he got a good tip for that.. but the food… not too good anymore.. managers should pay attention to detail.. there is no more work ethic anymore, no pride in the resteraunt buisness anymore.. very sad..
