I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Our server Danielle was very accommodating. The whole look of the establishment was really cool. Love how they kept it dim lit with the hard rustic look. Loved the idea that we were eating in a historical bank. Loved our food. Loved the espresso martini’s. We plan on coming back to try more on the menu.

My party of 7 reserved a table to celebrate a birthday dinner. This steakhouse is formerly located in a bank. The decor and dark interior with candlelight provided a mysterious feel. Complimentary bread with oil was served. I ordered an old fashsioned as it was right given the type of meal. One of the starters was a bacon bourbon bite, which engulfed my taste buds. 3 sides for the table were mac n cheese, brussels sprouts and wild mushrooms. These sides enhanced the steak. My entrée was the Kansas City strip, cooked medium-rare. It was prepared and cooked to my liking with a side of chimichurri. The night concluded with a chocolate care and scoop of vanilla ice cream. I felt that the group got the most bang for their buck. 9.7/10.

Dining here for the first time was an experience for sure. We had a double date night and this was the perfect place. From the minute you walk in the place is beautiful and inviting. The dim lighting is perfect for a romantic dinner, but also great for large groups. There are two floors, each has a bar which stays just as busy as the dining areas. The staff is friendly, the servers are great and do not miss a thing. I can’t decide what we enjoyed more because it was all outstanding. They have valet parking, street parking or a lot located behind the restaurant that fills up quick.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A MEMORABLE DINING EXPERIENCE STRICKLANDS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!’

I recently dined at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The setting alone is stunning; housed inside an old, beautifully preserved bank, the space has a chic, upscale ambiance that immediately elevates the entire experience.

The service was exceptional. Our server was warm, attentive, and truly made us feel taken care of throughout the evening without ever being overbearing.

As for the food, everything exceeded expectations. We ordered the steak, the meatball appetizer, and the Brussels sprouts. I normally don’t care for Brussels sprouts, but these were prepared so perfectly that they ended up being my favorite dish of the night. Each plate was flavorful, thoughtfully crafted, and cooked to perfection.

For anyone who appreciates high-quality steaks, refined service, and a sophisticated atmosphere, this restaurant is an excellent choice. I look forward to returning soon.

Honest Review – Strickland Steak House

I’m sharing my honest experience so you can decide for yourself whether to visit and what to order.

We had a reservation for 8:00 PM, but our table wasn’t ready until 8:30 PM. Keep in mind, the kitchen closes at 9:00 PM, so we immediately felt rushed. Once we placed our order, everything including the steak was brought out at the same time. I didn’t like that, especially since some of the appetizers arrived cold.

While we were eating, the waitress kept coming to our table trying to clear plates while we were still eating. The rushing was overwhelming. What bothered me the most was when the waitress grabbed my plate while I was still eating and my food touched his fingers. I told him I wasn’t finished, and he put the plate back, but I couldn’t continue eating after noticing that.

We were rushed the entire time and weren’t informed that the kitchen closed so early. If the kitchen closes at 9, reservations shouldn’t be scheduled that late, or at least guests should be informed in advance and sited at their time.

Food review:
• Shrimp — very good
• Spicy salmon — not spicy at all
• Crispy rice — not good
• Calamari — cold, when reheated it lost its flavor
• Octopus — very cold and chewy
• Steak — warm, but hard to cut and we were not provided steak knives
• Lobster mac and cheese — good, especially if you love mac and cheese. It had real lobster pieces, which was a plus.

Drinks:
The drinks were very weak. They tasted more like juice than cocktails. I had to order three drinks just to feel anything.

Dessert:
The dessert menu had very limited options. We ordered the cheesecake, but it tasted stale, like it was a few days old. This was a very disappointing way to end the meal.

The atmosphere and decor were great. Service, however was about 2.5 out of 5 due to the long wait, constant rushing, and the plate incident.

Overall, it wasn’t terrible but definitely not great. We expected more, especially since we drove over an hour to get there. Decide for yourself if it’s worth visiting.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! Strickland’s Steakhouse hits every mark from the food to the service to the atmosphere. The Chorizo Scallops were unreal smoky, buttery, and perfectly seared. The Meatballs were melt-in-your-mouth good, and the Kansas City Strip was seasoned perfectly and cooked to absolute perfection. The Duck was rich and flavorful, and the sides (Brussels and Mac & Cheese) were both standouts.

You can tell everything is made with care nothing felt rushed or heavy, just balanced and delicious. We finished with the Cheesecake and it was so smooth and decadent. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a great meal, this place delivers every time!

I had an exceptional dining experience at this establishment for the first time. The moment we arrived, the staff’s friendly demeanor stood out. The ambience was lively and festive. The crab cakes and Asian calamari appetizers were delicious. For the main course, we shared the port house steak, which was cooked to perfection. I will definitely return.

I had an amazing experience at Strickland Steak House!
From the moment we walked in, the place had a warm, inviting vibe—relaxed but still classy enough to feel like a treat. The staff were super friendly and on top of everything without being pushy.

We ordered an appetizer a steak and and a dessert at the end to make it a perfect dinner. One thing it was honestly perfect—juicy, tender, and cooked exactly the way I asked. You can really tell they know what they’re doing in the kitchen. The sides were just as good; the mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, and the veggies had that nice fresh crunch. Even the bread they brought out was great.

Mocktails were solid too, and the whole meal just felt really well put together. It’s the kind of place where you can go for a nice dinner but still feel comfortable and not overly formal. Overall, definitely a 5-star experience. I’m already planning my next visit!
And they do have HALAL OPTIONS too.

This place is an instant classic. The building is an old school bank that immediately gives a very classy nostalgic vibe. The appetizers are delicious, the steak cooked perfect, and the drinks go down easy. If you’re in the area, give this place a try for sure. Keep in mind, this is an aged steakhouse… you’re not coming here for a $20 dinner…

Such a cute atmosphere, dark and chilled, with amazing service and even better steak! We had the calamari as an appetizer (good but a bit salty), filet mignon, mashed potatoes and fries, all of which was delicious. We finished with their home made bread pudding, one of the best desserts I have ever tried. Great experience!
