Went for the first time while in the area at Dave’s Toybox and the food is beyond amazing. I had the wings and they had to be some of the best wings I have ever had. Their BBQ sauce is so delicious. The Hush Puppies are very good as well. We will definitely be back and probably sooner than later! If you love good BBQ food this place is for you.

This is a great barbecue find in Lancaster, PA! The restaurant itself is in an older brick building but the inside is spacious, attractive, and well appointed. The menu is varied and deep, service is friendly and attentive, and the food is very good with generous portions. This is the kind of place to which we would gladly return.

Overall a nice experience. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The food came out very quickly. Best collar greens I’ve ever had. The pulled chicken was just okay. Chicken itself wasn’t seasoned. Corn bread was dry and not fresh. Whiskey cocktail was tasty. Onion rings were super crispy and tasty but again needed seasoning.

We ordered Harveys for the first time yesterday after hearing so much about it. We ordered the Brisket diner and a full rack of Ribs. My wife picked it up and said how nice it was inside and her interaction with the staff were great. The Brisket was good, but the sides, collard greens and potato salad were mediocre. The ribs however were over done. Some parts of the rack were jerky lik and the silver skin that was left on was not edible. The flavore of the ribs however were very good. Over all the meal was good and the price wasn’t bad, but would have expected a better cooked rib for a BBQ place. Overall experience was good. Will give them another shot and try other parts of the menu.

On a recent trip to Manheim to visit relatives I was looking for an interesting place for the wife and I to go to lunch and discovered this restaurant in Mt Joy. Right away we loved the interior and the servers were very attentive. Since I was driving in an unfamiliar area I was happy I could get a 10 oz beer, which was very refreshing and surprisingly good since I never drink lighter beers. We were going to order a half rack of ribs and share but our server suggested a full rack and that worked out much better. The ribs were very good, not exactly fall off the bone tender, but not tough. The sides were pretty good as well and appeared to be made from scratch. If this restaurant were located back home in MA we would definitely make it a regular stop.

Some of the best barbecue you’ve ever had in Central PA. Highly recommend stopping in to try their delicious food. I had the brisket dip which was fantastic and tasted delicious. The wife tried the pulled pork dinner and throughly enjoyed it. Their BBQ sauce is tangy with a tomatoey base. Only downside I can find is it could be difficult to find parking on busier days. If you’re in the area of Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, I highly recommend stopping by to try some delicious BBQ.

My husband and I came for dinner this evening and were very pleased with both the food and service. I ordered the pulled pork dinner and the portions were huge! This will easily feed me tomorrow for dinner with the leftovers. The onion rings are amazing and the ranch which was recommended by our server is the best ranch I have ever tasted. Our server Leah was incredibly sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Wow, Harvey’s is the best BBQ I’ve ever had. It came highly recommended by multiple friends, so my wife and I decided to try it out. We were absolutely blown away. We both got a two-meat plate with 2 sides, and ended up having plenty of leftovers for the next day. The ribs are my favorite, such good flavor, and so tender. Each meat (chicken, ribs, pulled pork, brisket) had a distinct flavor from the others too, which I really enjoyed. Sometimes other places make everything taste the same. Their collard greens were very tasty, and the french fries were so crispy. And having a nice selection of craft beers on hand makes Harvey’s that much more appealing. All the staff were friendly and courteous. Top notch atmosphere, employees, and food. They just solidified two more customers for life.

We have been eating at Harvey’s since they first opened. It had been a while since we were there so we stopped in today and had lunch. We had the special which was a Brisket sandwich with one side. Wow, it was outstanding and the french fries were delicious. The service was great too. I’ve always said Harvey’s Brisket is the best around.

A friend suggested Harvey’s BBQ, I am glad we listened. Pulling up outside, I thought it would be a small place but don’t judge a book by its cover. We walked in to an open space that was very casual and inviting.
The staff welcoming and helpful. Our server was prompt and attentive.
The food was amazing. The BBQ was filled with flavor. From the sandwiches to ribs, chicken,baked beans and BBQ Lasagna.
We love dark beer and the two offered were very good.
We will dine here again. Nothing but praise to offer.
