I normally wouldn’t say this but I do believe this is important. When I first walked in here I was kind of nervous being bald in a black woman. Not about violence or anything but just a little stereotyping. All I was absolutely wrong. They were wonderful my waitress was training she was great the manager was kind while he was teaching her. I totally recommend that for any body that’s awake at 4:00 in the morning to please come it was wonderful

Love this diner. We go there often, would go there for diner quite often, love it.

We go there for breakfast not as often. When we do go the food and service is great. We would go there more except believe it or not, you dont have Scrapple, its a Philly thing. If you had it as an option, we would go more. I am sure the people up NORTH know what I am referring to.

Again, no complaints, only compliments. Your restaurant is great. Keep up the good work.

We don’t usually go to chain restaurants, but it was close to what we were doing. Cerrus was very quick. I serve. It was very polite and nice. Food was plenty and good and came quick. We did not have one complaint. Only the three percent service charge on credit cards we were not told about. And they have country fried steak, which most diners don’t. Definitely we’ll go back.

My Boyfriend and I visited here after it being highly recommended by a friend of mine. Since we are from out of town, we had no idea what to expect. The food at this place was amazing, the price to portion ratio was very satisfying as well. My boyfriend and I ordered 2 sandwiches and some chicken wings to share and since I felt like splurging I ordered a side of biscuits and sausage gravy (and I usually Don’t like those, but the ones at this place were sooo gooddd). NEZZIE our server made the whole experience so delightful! She was so friendly, cheerful, helpful, and open to giving suggestions which in my opinion is a great quality in a server! We were only in town for a day and a half and we went back 3 times ( we couldn’t leave without getting another piece of that chocolate cake!). I wish I didn’t live so far, otherwise I would be a frequent flyer at this diner. 10/10 would come back, and I look forward to my next visit to City Diner of Stuart!

City Diner, I love you guys really. You have the best cheesecake on the planet. It’s rich, creamy, and honestly worth every bit of the $8 a slice… if it didn’t look like it got thrown from a moving vehicle and landed in a Styrofoam coffin.

Seriously, what’s going on up front? The cheesecake deserves a throne, not a splatter scene. The front counter is being run by a group of unsupervised teens who think “presentation” means slapping the lid shut and hoping for the best. The last time I picked up dessert, I got asked if “cheesecake needs a fork”… and I just stared into the void for a minute.

Y’all need to train your staff or at least let the cheesecake ride shotgun instead of tumbling around like luggage. I’m rooting for you. Just please start treating your desserts like the royalty they are.

UPDATE 1/28/26 – this is the best looking piece of cheesecake I’ve ever had. Well done!

We found City Diner as a result of trying to get into Flanagans up the road. Did not want to wait, so we came to City Diner. Very good food at reasonable prices. Open 24 hours a day. Basic restaurant atmosphere, but I highly recommend this restaurant. In fact, we came back a second time during our stay.

First time Diner , I really enjoyed my quick bite. I ordered the Reuben with side fries and it was delicious and had a good amount of meat but I would ask your server for extra thousand island if you like a saucy sandwich.
I ended with a cherry cheesecake that was almost too good to be real but I highly recommend it. Overall clean space and easy parking and service was quick and my server Nezzie was awesome!

My wife purchased a western omelet. They cooked the eggs than thru all the ingredients inside and folded it over. I never seen a omelet made that way. Terrible. Myself I purchased 2 eggs over easy with hash browns and whole wheat toast. The hash browns tasted like oil , the toast was hard with no butter and they charged me for bacon which I didn’t order. Our check was $40 with tip. Never again
