Took my date here, great food service was amazing I wish I got my waitresses name, she was amazing. Their crab cakes are also great. All the drinks from the bar also wont let you down.

Well used to like them, but after today’s experience…… dont think ill be returning anytime soon! The ribs tastes old like 3 days old and just not good flavor, if you want good ribs go to bourbons or block brewing. Never had “old ribs” from either of those places and great flavor! Block is more smokey than burbons just fyi. I highly doubtful not recommend still waters ribs! I got take out, and I live 30 minutes away. Had I ate in restaurant I would have sent them back to the kitchen! The mashed potatoes I used to love not sure what happened woth today’s they were oddly sweet and way over garliced. Maybe those were old as well, and the flavors got more depth than if they were freshly made not sure but highly disappointed there as well! Cheaper places to get food in the area for what I paid im definitely not thrilled. I requested some of that bread/rolls that are so delicious or at least used ro be and there were no rolls in my bag.

My wife and I had dinner here a number of years ago with friends as well as a couple of times ourselves but it was a while ago. I was surprised my wife suggested it but was happy to accommodate. There were four items on the menu that attracted me — signature fall-off the bone baby back ribs, Maryland lump blue crab cakes, crab stuffed salmon, and prime rib. I ate authentic Maryland crab cakes in Maryland some years ago and I haven’t had anything even close outside of Maryland so I hesitated ordering them. I had salmon not too long ago and a good friend of mine claims she has perfected baby back ribs and I hope to have some soon. Therefore, I chose the prime rib. Sad to say, I didn’t love it as the waitress said I would. It was only average. I had prime rib at Outback a few months ago and it was excellent; the flavor was terrific. This one did not have a great flavor but was only average. The blue cheese dressing on the salad was very good and the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer was excellent. However, the garlic mashed potatoes were too runny and the broccolini was hard to cut, even with a steak knife. My wife had a Michigan-type dinner salad with dried cherries that was good but the creamy house dressing with poppy seeds had a weird flavor. My wife ate very little of it. My wife said she would go back there when I asked her. I will definitely have either the baby back ribs or the crab stuffed salmon.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome. The restaurant and bar have a very open feel. Lots of natural light and great view of the water. The server was very friendly and easy going. The food was absolutely delicious. A fantastic dining experience!

So I go to Stillwater for predictability. Always great service & food. But while the stuffed salmon was good, it wasnt great, the rice served with it reminded me of my mothers cooking in the 50’s, spoiler alert …never a good memory. The service was surprisingly slow, since it wasn’t crowded at 1:30. Soup came cold, took 3 times to warm it up enough for my taste, plus the Lobster bisque I get at Walmart deli section was definitely better and so much cheaper. The Creme Brulee, was not up to par, at all.

Disappointing birthday linch with my friend.

This is one of the nicer restaurants in Brighton, they aim to be the premium destination for special dinners in town. It has a fancy vibe – the waiters are dressed up, the tables are beautiful, the interior is clean and well decorated. The pricing reflects this.

It’s because of the high standard the restaurant sets for itself that I give it 4 stars instead of 5. The service was standard, not special. The staff were nice, just not exceptionally attentive. The food was very good, but pricey. I loved the Caesar salad and the spicy tenderloin tips. The bread was also very memorable. The chicken Alfredo was good, not mond blowing.

In the summer you can sit outside by the Millpond. There is a huge parking lot and no stairs to get in.

Great stop on our visit home to Michigan. Excellent restaurant in Brighton overlooking the walking trail with a really well thought out menu. Started off with the bread basket and the Crispy Fried Brussel Sprouts for the table. I suggest you try these if you like Brussels. They were absolutely delicious! They were tossed with shaved Parmesan , pecans, and maple-balsamic glaze. For the main entree I split the Salmon Fillet stuffed with roasted pepper, crab, and spinach. It was served with lemon-caper beurre blanc, rice pilaf, and green beans. I would order this over and over again. It was outstanding. We had a table of six and everyone was so pleased with their meal choices. Our service was fantastic, time to receive our meals from when we placed the order (even on a busy Saturday night) was minimal, and the atmosphere was perfect. Looking forward to our next visit back!

The horse at the bar is awesome!! Mosey over to see it. Great photo opportunity . Restaurant was a bit dark in the evening for dinner so it was helpful looking at the menu in advance. Every team member was kind and served with a smile.

Met a friend here for a yearly get together. Place is spacious but yet warm and inviting. When they seat you you get standard laminated menus but they also give you a tablet to browse through which I found more helpful that trying to find my glasses and use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu. Great idea thanks, I wish more places did that. Ordered cream of mushroom soup which was very tasty. Hubby n I ordered fish n chips they were good portions but we both found ourselves eating just the fish and leaving the fries. Our friend got the nut crusted chicken (I think it was pecan but am not positive as I’m just calling it “nut” ) she said it was good and did take leftovers home. Malbac wine was nice and smooth. We actually did not map Stillwater properly so we parked in the “downtown” area and had to walk over, it was chilly but glad it worked out as the area was decorated for Christmas and we would have missed that sight had we not made the mistake. We were only in this town for the dinner. It looks like a great little town to wander in when it’s nice out.

We were very disappointed by Stillwater. The bar area smelled of raw sewage, making the wait for our table miserable. The pecan chicken wasn’t a full chicken breast, but three kid’s chicken tenders – too little food for the price. The drinks were very weak. We will not be back.

The atmosphere was quiet and homey. The decor was pretty amazing and if it had been warmer we could have eaten outside. We came for our anniversary and wasn’t disappointed. The open kitchen is always a great feature providing transparency and openness. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
