Let me preface this by saying, I dont usually write reviews unless my experience was really good or really bad. This one is more to bring attention to the cooks / owners. So ive had wings here before, very tasty. My service experience has always been prompt and courteous. But last night I decided to actually order a pizza. Just a simple cheese with cup and char pepperoni. Im not sure if its because it was part of the family deal or what but ive had better pizza from a Lunchables. Overly thick, not crispy, tasteless dough that tasted like it was premade dough from tops, cooked in my oven at home. Clumpy chewy cheese and the lamest cup and char pepperoni. Im not sure if it was just an off night or what but I was not at all impressed. Being from the buffalo area I have definitely had my fair share of awesome pizza experiences. This was definitely not one of them. The boneless wings i recieved as part of the deal were really tasty though. Nice and crispy and the sweet and sour sauce was tasty as well. Again I don’t intend this as a hurtful review because I know the food here is usually pretty on point, just wanted to let my experience be known.

Batavia’s Original is a must try when you’re in town. The building was the home of the original Pontillos established in 1947. The food and service were both great!

I am not thrilled by Batavias original everytime we go unfortunately. I keep trying, but after our last experience we wont be back. 1st bad experience we had, our waitress never brought us silverware, even after being asked. 2nd time, I went with a friend, total we had 3 kids who did personal pizzas. It took over 45 minutes just for the kids to get there dough , sauce etc to even make the pizza. This last time we went, we waiting 10+ minutes to place a drink order, people were going up to the soda machine and refilling there own drinks. My kids did make your own pizzas, the sauce: worst sauce Ive ever tasted, tasted like tomato juice. Also took forever. My husband and I ordered chicken fingers, plain, with medium sauce on the side. We were brought out bbq chicken fingers. not what we ordered at all. When everyone was done with there food , our waitress brought out our fries that we completely forgot we even ordered. As we were sitting at the table we ordered food from Salvatores for pick up because the experience and food was terrible.

I had my bridal shower here on the patio and it was absolutely perfect!! Mary grace was super helpful and easy to work with while planning. They allowed us to come in early to set up and were extremely attentive during the entire shower!! Food was absolutely delicious and everything went perfectly

Stopped in for lunch today after an appointment in town. Ordered a personal hot honey pizza, a Buffalo chicken calzone, and a half order of hot buffalo wings. The wings were nice and crispy, the pizza crust was crisp and delicious, and they use fresh basil and mozzarella!
Everything was delicious and was served quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive. The place was clean and inviting. I would definitely stop back again when in town.

This has become our favorite local pizza spot over the years. Their food is always good, fairly priced, and, sure, sometimes mistakes are made, like everywhere, but they ALWAYS actually care if something gets messed up and try their best to make it right. Having worked as a manager in restaurants for years, that’s key – and proof ownership has empowered employees to put customers first. And where else can you get a pint of cold Peroni for only $4.50 these days?!? PS Ask for Dana if eating in. She’s a doll.

I ordered a delivery meal while staying at a Batavia hotel recently. It was mediocre at best. The meal took longer than the 45 minutes to an hour promised. The hot wings were old, cold, and a bit dried up. Instead of 5 wings, I received 2 1/2. The salad was also old and limp. They had no milk, so called to tell me I could not get the milkshake I ordered. There were no napkins or eating utensils given to me. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, as I felt I should have gotten a much better meal and service for the high price I paid. I would not do it again.

Not ready for prime time.
Ok, not my favorite style of pizza. It’s delivered, how good can it be.
Placed an order for a small pizza and half salad. I specifically said I needed plastic ware, salt and pepper, napkins and Parmesan cheese. She said I better right this down and I repeated it. I gave my hotel address. I also mentioned I have ordered pizza and salad before and not got plastic ware. I was told almost $25 and an hour wait. I paid it and waited. It came an hour later and without any of the things I requested. I told the delivery person I requested all those things and then asked him how was I going to eat the salad?!?! He did offer to go back and get the stuff, really?
When you deliver to a hotel you should expect that the customer probably doesn’t have various things that you might at home.
Why did they get two stars? The salad was big (not enough dressing) and had cecci beans (chick peas). The pizza had obviously been made quite some time ago and was just warm.

$33.00 for a large pizza. The least they could do is put some toppings on it. Looks like they actually count how many pieces of pepperoni they put on it and then bury it with peppers and onions so you won’t notice there’s hardly any meat on it. Thought I’d give them another shot. I’m sorry I did. What a rip off. Update: And it’s not even cooked. The middle is raw dough. You gotta be kidding me!

If I could give zero stars I would. I placed an order from work and after one and a half hours I called. The lady said it was on its way. I waited another 20 minutes. Called back she said she didn’t know what the driver was doing. I cancelled it. This was a horrible experience and the customer service was terrible. I will no longer recommend to people.
