The decor and service is on point but the food is bland. The asada was flavorless as well as the sauce, the one thing that made it was their pickled onions. The spice level was also mediocre unfortunately.
Salsa needs salt and more in-depth flavor. It’s as if it was watered down. I’ve eaten here before and it was definitely better, but this time was a bit disappointing.

The food was amazing, everything tasted so fresh and delicious, especially the tostada de camarón. The staff was very friendly and kept checking on us. Will definitely be back.

Newly remodeled interiors are clean. Staff are quick to take away empty plates and are polite and friendly. I had the carnitas taco and liked how the meat had some crunch.

This places had closed, and I was HURT. But reopened and renovated the entire restaurant. The food is amazing and now have a video displaying everything they have to offer. It is hard to order only 1 meal off this menu. You can’t go wrong with the tacos at all and their (wahaca) dish, not sure if I spelled that right but it is so damn good. You have to come try it.

Best Mexican Restaurant I’ve ever eaten at! The food was amazing, fresh with good portions. Entrees had all the fixins’, rice, beans, side of lettuce/sour cream/tomatoes/guacamole, and orders come with FRESH chips & several salsas to choose from. Atmosphere/decor was inviting as well as the staff. HUGE menu, so you’re bound to find just what you are craving. It’s a small restaurant next to the Safeway, so go shopping & grab something tasty to eat.

I had high hopes for this place, but I was quickly disappointed. My husband got the wet burrito and it really lacked any type of flavor , I got the Asada quesadilla and I feel like there was hardly any meat in there and too much cheese. My son got some Carne Asada fries, (not pictured) That had way too much cheese and way too much sour cream, and he didn’t even end up finishing them, Don’t get me wrong usually my son loves sour cream on his Carne Asada fries, but he even said it was way too much for him to enjoy. The restaurant environment is basically you walk in you place your order at the counter and then you find somewhere to sit outside or inside , It was super packed inside, so we just found us some seats outside. They do have unlimited chips and salsa for you to grab after you order your food which I really did like that and their green salsa was Actually, pretty good. But that’s probably the only good thing I can say about this restaurant. Also, if you want some real authentic Mexican food come to Stockton

I had heard that they have the best posole, so I had to try it myself. I was not impressed. Seems like my soup was very watery and the chunks of pork were about 2 inches thick and not very tender. I couldn’t even break up the pork with my spoon and the spoon I was given was not even a soup spoon so every timeI tried to fill my spoon with hominy, pork, cabbage and onions, it would just all fall out of the spoon. While it looks delicious in the picture, the flavor was very mild and almost unflavorful. I’ll stick to my favorite restaurant for posole.
