Had the pleasure of this treasure trove of goodness. This is a hotspot all the locals know about it.
I was finishing up a 30 mile bike ride figured I’d stop in for lunch and I had the grilled #8 chicken. It was Fantastic! The focaccia bread with Rosemary spices is heaven in you’re mouth. Just looking at the pictures. Makes me want to take a bite. They use very high quality ingredients and you have really good names for sandwiches. Flavors to match. Excellent customer service.

I ordered MD catering for an event this last weekend. I’m from Millburn and grew up on it. Where the service and presentation were delightful I was super disappointed in the food itself. I ordered majority chicken sandwiches (soprano, grilled #8, and some veggie options). The chicken in the sandwiches was sandpaper dry and the pesto was tasteless which made the sandwiches themselves unenjoyable. Not sure if this is a one off but it has me questioning if I’ll use MD for catering again.

My favorite deli in all of NJ, NY, and MA!!
The “Godfadda” chicken cutlet sandwich is the PEAK of all sandwiches. They have a dozen other amazing sandwiches, but when I’m hundreds of miles away and wanting a good sandwich I dream of the Godfadda.

My first time here and finding parking was my only frustration. My wife has been here more often than not and warned me of possible long lines. So, I placed my order in advance using their online ordering service which was simple and clear. It said 30 minutes, but I got there in 20 and it was ready for pick-up. Very impressive! I ordered 3 different sandwiches; the Gobbler, the Perfect Ten & the Superman. I think I ordered the latter by mistake, but who cares, it was . Also, when I arrived, I had gone in to the main entrance but the staff, who is incredibly friendly, pointed me two doors down where I was greeted by another set of friendly staff. This place is amazing. I’m sure when the line is out the wazoo and people are hangry, tension can get high. This is just my honest review of what I experienced today and I am officially a fan and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone within 30 minutes of this place. Even if you have to wait a while, the wait is worth it. – Nobody

First time here, I came here with a buddy. He raved about the sloppy Joe’s, so I had to have one. I had the conrbeef and pastrami sloppy Joe, and he had the roast beef and Turkey sloppy joe. Very big sandwiches are very good. Huge menu limited seating indoors. It is not cheap, we’ll it is Milburn, so it’s not going to be cheap. Ours sandwiches were $17.95 each. Good and fresh sandwiches and salads

I know this place usually gets great reviews, but I can’t say the same. My son got a sandwich and I got a salad via DoorDash. No issues with DoorDash and he liked the sandwich enough but the salad that arrived looked like something out of a convenience store refrigerator case that was past its expiration date. The lettuce was brown. The tomatoes looked old and slimy. Just clearly not freshly made. Toppings were sparse. Overall disappointing. Skip the salads here.

Came here for lunch during a NJ trip and it was so tasty. Got the “The Hollywood” sandwich and it was so good and filling. The place is so cute and popular! A good amount of people were here when we went but the service was still great. Staff were nice and answered questions we had. Didn’t take long for us to get our food and we were able to sit inside to eat. Would come again!

Very busy deli with great sandwiches. The Turkey Sloppy Joe was one of the I have had anywhere. They have penty of outside seating but the parking lot is crowded.

Been going to Milburn Deli since 2013. Just tried it again this weekend for the first time in years, maybe since 2020. I have to say, food is still amazing 10/10 however the owners must know the soul behind the sandwich has disappeared. The entire vibe was way too friendly compared to years ago . While I appreciate being told to take my time while ordering, what I wanted to hear was hurry up like the old days. There was nothing like the organized chaos in previous years. It screamed NJ deli, the charm is no longer. I’ll still be back but the old staff is missed!
