Don’t get me wrong. I like the sushi here, but as good as the sushi is, it isn’t worth an hour and thirteen minute wait. Granted we came on a Friday night on December 26th, but a wait that long is ridiculous. It is best not to complain unless you have solutions to fix the problem. The menu is almost 200 items. Great if you like selection, not great if the sushi chef has to look up how to make a roll, that adds to the wait time. Fuji Sushi is not a big place. Seats maybe 100. You would think the 7 servers would be able to get to your table in a timely manner, 10 minutes to put in a drink order is just poor service. I could go on but I will just get more frustrated. Try the Crazy roll. It is delicious. Don’t ever go to this place on a Friday or Saturday night, especially the day after Christmas. One last bit of advice, retire this plate. The chip is indicative of the bigger problem. (See photo)

We live close by and typically LOVE this place. We visited last week for date night and I tried the Tonkotsu for the first time (it was tasty!). I woke up at 7 am the next morning with the worst stomach pain I’ve ever experienced, and then proceeded to spend the next 12 hours rotating between vomiting and passing blood out the other end every 20 minutes. It’s been nearly a week and I’m still slowly recovering from E. coli. I have never been more ill in my entire life. As much as I have loved Fuji, I don’t think I can ever get myself to go back! I’m reviewing in hopes management sees this and takes the proper precautions/etc to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else!

We loved everything we tried! Playboy, Fire roll, Jason Plus and the house made Gyoza! Service was amazing and food fresh! We will be back!

The food was absolutely amazing. One of the best places for sushi and sashimi. Everything was fresh. The King Roll is one of the best we’ve ever had. All the flavors were amazing the manager took the time out to make the roll himself for us. The Tempura Banana was so yummy. We will definitely be back. Staff was so sweet and we’re on top of it. Very rare to find now days

I went for a late lunch-there were 2-3 other tables in use when we arrived and none by the time we left. The food was great! The service, if you could call it that, was almost nonexistent. Once seated we waited about 30 minutes before a waiter came to get drink orders, at which time we ordered our food too. Our drinks were brought-just waters-and then we waited another 40 minutes for our food. Our appetizer came at the end of the meal…
Our waters were never refilled, we were never “checked on” until the food was gone at which point I asked for the check. The waiter never came back by to collect the check and was just standing there, leaning on the counter facing a way from us. If you want a good place to get sushi to go, I’d recommend them. Don’t go for service. You’ll be sorely disappointed.

It’s hard to mess up a sushi spot. In my years of visiting multiple states and cities, eating sushi, from large restaurants to small family shops- this is the first time I left unsatisfied.
The food is great, don’t get me wrong. But the long wait for a small order during a rush was disappointing. The biggest issue was value and quantity for the price. For 14-15 dollars per roll, most sushi spots have a much larger portion size, but here after spending 40+ dollars for two people, I still felt hungry and underwhelmed. I was intending to spend around $30 per person but decided to leave early as it felt like a waste of money due to how small the portion size was for the price.
Sushi spots in Reno, Atlanta, Orlando, and San Francisco have all given a larger value, and if you intend to eat sushi, I’d recommend a different restaurant.
Was seated in a “booth” that was obviously crammed into a space that wasn’t as wide as the other booths. It had no backing against the wall on one side and I was squeezed tightly between to table and wall. Speak up if you’re seated in the back, it will be uncomfortable.

Very unfortunate… ordered sashimi from here and it was still about 70% frozen. Also cut a bit more than 1/4 thick so too thick.
Ordered yaki soba and got yaki udon instead. The chicken was also overcooked / dry. The katsu was okay, decent crunch but also a bit on the dry side.
The other sushi wasn’t too bad, but the sashimi was inedible…

Good was great, no complaints at all despite living in a land locked state. The booth we were in was really dim, so the point it was hard to see the menu. There was a dimmer switch in the booth for the light but it was all the way up already.

Loved the private booth! Waiter got one of our rolls wrong but it ended up being great – they gave us a free dessert to make up for it. Great service and good vibes.

They offer excellent fried items like tempura and tonkatsu. The veggie udon is surprisingly good. Even though I’m not a vegetarian, I really enjoy this dish. The rolls we ordered (dragon roll, rainbow roll, spider roll) were just okay.
