The food was good. I ordered the steak ranchero and eggs. The meat needs some spices and the beans need more flavor. Price is okay for the size of plate. I will be coming back to taste other platters. Waiter was nice and friendly.

Breakfast was delicious. The huevos rancheros was 10/10 that queso was fire. Frijoles were so tasty. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I recommend coming here for breakfasts or lunch prices are not too expensive.

We love eating here! Amazing service always. I’m a first time mommy and my son needed a diaper change so I went to the restroom to change him and they don’t have a changing table or station which is uncalled for. We’re in 2026 I’m hoping you guys can install a changing table asap.

I’m going to say it was just mediocre. Here are a few take aways.
Four of us dining together and there is just a small bowl of chips & one salsa. At that size each of us should have had our own bowl.
A positive note – lunch was served quickly unfortunately not everything was hot. The beans & rice were slightly warm. My first bite of my chicken taco had me for a long pause. It was fat & gristle. I quickly remove and left on my plate. The Chicken Tacos seemed to lack flavor, I did add salsa to kick it up a notch.
The others were pretty much the same just okay. The noise level was pretty loud. Like I said it was okay but I’m not sure if I would recommend.

Always a delicious Mexican place and friendly staff makes a great experience for the whole family. Plates late fill and drinks never go dry. Good for family and large groups. Prices stay affordable for all that you get. Don’t hesitate to take the drive from anywhere In Choco.(915)

Today, I tried the tampiqueña. The meat was a little too tough for my taste. I regretted not ordering the ribeye. I like that their menudo is cut into bite-size pieces. The fajitas were okay, but not all that great. The meal initially was not to the point of making me want to return any time soon, but I returned anyway.

When you go to a Mexican restaurant, you assume a certain type of spice heat n flavor.. La Malinche has none of these. The food is quite bland. which can be good when you go with people that do not like spicy food or with young children. However, for me, that is what I was hoping for so I was disappointed. The food was good but lacked flavor. I also felt the cost did not match quality even though the prices were quite reasonable. I do not plan to return.

We regularly visit the Zaragoza location on Fridays for the fish soup. However lately, not only do they usually run out of it before the noon hour, but it’s also not as good as it used to be. At one time it was served with a generous amount of veggies and fish; now it’s more of a tomato soup. The food and service at this location are not bad, but be advised that during their peak/lunch hours, parking is hard to find.

The meal was terrible. It was like drinking oil; the three Chile rellenos I ordered were too oily to eat. The meat fajitas were just as bad, and they were bitter and dry as well. The quality of the dish was really disappointing to me.

They have two more locations for this one(Yarborough and Doniphan)
I enjoyed the music, traditional ballroom.
Atmosphere is elegant. Feels friendly and well decorated.
Price is right, not overpriced for the quality.
