Closing off/denying seating in preferred sections, with more than an hour till closing, isn’t very accommodating/welcoming.
How much does enough salt/sugar to encrust the rim of two glasses cost? Our margaritas had no salt and sugar on the rims because we were told that the bar tender has already dumped the salt and sugar. Again, with more than an hour till closing time. The drinks were nicely priced. That’s still not justification to me to casually cut ingredients. Pull out some more salt!
My halibut was great.

This is one of a chain of restaurants. I’ve eaten here before, but I don’t think I’ve reviewed it yet.
My wife and I were in the neighborhood to attend her grandson’s birthday party. We didn’t eat much at the party so we came here for lunch after the party ended. My wife made the birthday cake for her grandson in the shape of the cute dog that her grandson recently acquired. She got lots of compliments on the shape and the taste of the cake, but I’m not reviewing the cake because she only makes cakes for relatives and close friends.
Anyway, back to the Glory Days Grill. Today is a snow day, and lots of places are closed. This place is open and not crowded so even though it’s quiet, I can’t tell you what the noise level would be on a normal day.
The place is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and not unduly crowded with tables. An interesting amenity that I haven’t seen in other restaurants is a gizmo on the table that allows you to tune in the sound from one of the TV sets above the bar.
My wife had a Swiss cheese, grilled mushroom and grilled onion bison burger. She liked it. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with grilled onions and grilled short ribs (without the bones) incorporated into the sandwich. It was excellent. Seasoned fries came with the sandwich, but the fries didn’t taste any different to me than ordinary salted fries. I understand that salt is a seasoning, but usually, seasoned fries are seasoned with something added to the salt.
We had excellent service from Bridget, our server and from Devon, the manager. We asked for the news station to be changed from Fox to a news station that we could actually believe was telling us the truth, and they switched over to CNN.
There’s free parking out front. I recommend this place.
The owner of the Glory Days Grill thanked me for the review and asked to see a picture of the cake. I understand that the cake wasn’t relevant to the review, and it still isn’t, but I added a picture of the cake since he asked to see it.
Unfortunately, after adding a picture of the cake four separate times, and having the picture appear to have been successfully uploaded, when I go back to this review later, the picture of the cake is gone. I officially give up on trying to add the picture of the cake to this review.

Food was very good but service was slow. We ordered drinks and dinner but drinks never came. Our food showed up and still no drinks. The manager came over and asked us about our drinks we told him they never showed up so he quickly went and got them. Once we got the drinks they were enjoyed but after dinner was half gone. We did enjoy dessert too. I would have had more drinks if they had come out sooner because they were good too.

I used to go to Glory Days all the time, but haven’t been in a few years. I would get their smoothies and my friends loved the corn bread. I went this evening for a birthday celebration. The people still loved the corn bread. They don’t have smoothies any more. The food and service was still good. I ordered the Triple Play (ribs, shrimp, and chicken tenders). I was satisfied and pleased.

Glory days always has really good cauliflower wings and the Nashville hot sauce hits just right. I also ordered the ranchero chicken wrap which was okay, but the chicken smelled a little funny. The triple crown nachos with salsa, queso and guacamole was a good for starters. The side salad also isn’t bad.

The Mahi fish tacos! The best tacos I’ve ever had. So good. The chili was awesome. The chicken cheesesteak was super delicious. And the server was the best. Definitely a good choice.

We came out to finally experience a fun filled Cousin’s get together on Saturday October 24, 2020! Covid-19 has kept us quarantined for seemingly forever. The restaurant was able to accommodate us (10) with outside heated seating with no wait. The food was delicious!!! Our order for 2 was knockout shrimp, Cobb salad and grilled chicken pasta with garlic sauce. The frozen strawberry mango margarita was so incredibly good. Our waitress, Olivia was impeccably professional. Honestly, we had all initially already ordered, eaten and paid our checks. We were having such an amazing time that we wound up making 2nd food & dessert orders LOL. Again, we were treated so well. The manager & all of the staffers continuously made sure that we were all ok. We were all so thankful, grateful and pleased with each & every aspect of our dinners, desserts and most importantly, the service that we received. Thank you Glory Days for making our family get together an absolutely amazing success! We’re definitely going back!

We decided to try this place on Sunday evening for a nice dinner out. It was a huge mistake. The waitress was very slow, didn’t even take the menus off our table the entire time we were there (including the big clunky drink menu). My husband ordered ribs with coleslaw and cornbread. The ribs had tiny slivers of bones that indicates the ribs were not cut correctly, it was very bad, tiny bone fragments about the size of a dime in length and very tiny in width were throughout the entire order. The cornbread was dry and hard as a rock. The coleslaw was advertised as creamy, yet when we received it, it was bone dry. It was just dried out shredded cabbage, when we complained and showed the waitress that the menu (That was still on table) stated it was a creamy coleslaw, the waitress didn’t know what to do. She said, looks like there is no creamy, it’s not there. So she went back to the kitchen and just brought us a tiny cup of “creamy” what ever it was, it was not going to work. How were we supposed to mix it in the coleslaw when it was in a tiny bowl and the creamy was stuck to the cup? The service was slow, the restaurant was half empty, employees playing on phones and not giving attention to the customers. We finished our meal and just wanted our check, but our waitress was missing and no one else could check us out. Really, really bad experience. We won’t be going back ever again.
