Service is very friendly, and the food is so good. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and the tamales to go because their leftovers are the best, but I got a small plate so I could eat one of each while we were there. Also a double side of rice. My son got tacos, (yum)! I have no idea what my husband got, but it must have been good because it disappeared immediately.
My only complaint would be that the pico had some kind crazy hot chili that was unexpected. I think it must have been a serrano or something other than a jalapeno, because it was sneaky hot. I admit my heat tolerance is stupid low, but just fair warning for those like me. My to-go order came with three lunch bags of fresh fried chips and two small salsas. Ask for more salsa. It’s really good. The dining area by the bar is the best place to sit in my opinion. Great experience all around!

Food came out fast and was really good. I got a mixed fajita which came out astonishingly fast, the chips and salsa were fresh, our server was nice, made me love onions and peppers more than before.

Luna Maya completely blew us away tonight! Not only is their food always amazing, but their customer service is next-level.
We were accidentally given the wrong order, and instead of just apologizing and asking us to come back, they went above and beyond and personally delivered the correct food to us. That kind of service is rare these days, and it meant so much!
They handled everything quickly, professionally, and with such kindness. You can tell they truly care about their customers and their reputation in the community.
We will absolutely continue supporting Luna Maya — incredible food, incredible people, and unmatched service. Highly recommend!

November 2024…STILL one of the best meals around. Been here lots of time since last and haven’t had a bad…or even an ok meal yet! Always one of my favorite go-to places with family…huh…going to have to try this place by myself one day! today I ordered for two! Hoping it’ll be a GREAT midnight snack leftover…is it midnight yet?!
4.5 at least…not quite a 5 cause they R too busy they need to expand!!! I believe they did this twice already! Glad they R doing well! Food is great as always! At least the times I was there. I went with the bigger portion and I was correct in leftovers! Still taste great a few times and few days later! Always order the bigger portion! More bang for Ur bucks and U will not regret! Especially with how much things cost nowadays.

Went here for the first time for dinner and would definitely come back! Our server was very attentive and our food arrived quickly. The pricing was about average. I had the tacos de carne asada and my husband had the arroz con pollo. We both enjoyed our meals and drinks!

We were in the area and a lady at Swiss Colony said this is her favorite place to eat in town, so my son and I decided to try it out.
We were seated right away. Chips were given in a nice sized basket with some salsa that was equal parts chunky and liquidy. They were good. I ordered a “choose your own” meal where I could pick 4 items. My son ordered the quesadilla grade lunch portion and it was huge. We both liked our dishes. We wiukd definitely come back again.

I’m not an expert in Mexican cuisine, but the food is a bit salty for me. Margarita and margarona are very good! Polite and smiling staff. Drinks and meals come fast.
And one more thing Since the tables are close to each other and people come for lunch or dinner there….it is rude and disgusting when a guest blows their nose next to your dining table while you are eating. Use a restroom or go outside where no people are around because it’s not OK to do something like that in the dining room ( if it’s not an emergency). We don’t live in a cave, right? Respect the staff and other visitors and at least adhere to some elementary rules of etiquette when you are visiting restaurants.

Food is always great, but when getting carry out look out for the $1.50 “container fee”. If I dined in for the same cost do I have to pay $1.50 to get a container to take it home?

They have a very good menu! We ordered a double serving of Luna Maya Special. It was a generous portion, came sizzling in sturdy, colorful plates. Very well made food, super tasty and carefully prepared. We (well, not everyone) can tell right away when there is love and care in food preparation; and quality as well. And I was delighted with what I received.
The place is clean, well lit, colorful and cheerful. The table service was very good, even though English was a struggle for the server.
Two little things turned me off a bit: the cashier didn’t seem to understand English so well, either. And the manager (or owner?) was stressed and a bit rude when his device for digital signature failed on getting my signature. His haste and approach were quite inappropriate.
Oh, well, these things happen. I hope next time I go to Luna Maya they are all having a better day! 😉
Now, the people in the kitchen knew what they were doing, and were doing it very well! To them, I tip my sombrero!
