Got me a chicken dinner to go and it was tasty. The chicken is flavored great, not too salty. The potato wedges were great, nice and fluffy. Coleslaw was good. You get 4 pieces and It was crispy! A side of ranch is always good and theirs is delicious! It looks fun inside, like an old school pizza parlor which is refreshing. I’m looking forward to trying the pizza. The young lady who helped me was very nice and they have a lot of people working there so I can imagine that the wait wouldn’t be too long if I went in for a pizza. Overall, it was good and I’d go back.

Delicious pizza. Been coming here for over 30 years. Had kids parties here in the past for my basketball teams. Old school good.

So I just had pizza and hot wings was kinda disappointed i ordered large pepperoni and Italian sausage my large pizza had literally one piece of Italian sausage on each slice and I waved a employee to come to my table and look at my order and he verified that there was one sausage on each slice of pizza considering that a large pizza was $31.00 I was hoping to receive more than one piece of Italian sausage they offered to make me a small size pizza with extra Italian sausage I received the new order and opened it at home and once again I was shortened Italian sausage I wasn’t sure if they were joking or not please management if you are reading this a response would be greatly appreciated September 2 evening

Although it’s called a Pizza Palace, our family goes there for their exceptionally value of fried chicken. Their chicken is done exceedingly well in regards to it being crispyn on the outside and still moist on the inside…
While you can ask for the pizza to be extra crispy and cooked, I’m not a fan of thick dough pizzas but in this case I do enjoy it as a compliment to the fried chicken.
Again. I suggest you ask them to make the crust extra crispy, otherwise it’s it’s too soft.
The rustic style pizza is better and more traditional.
The restaurant is classic Family style with long tables that you end up sharing there are a few booths and of course there are TVs and video games and a nice beer bar.
When it gets packed it is noisy, but that’s part of its charm. This is an old style neighborhood Family value restaurant that brings back fond memories of growing up without all the darn chain restaurants that seem to have replaced them.

(See update below)Great family eatery, not too different from the old Bertolli’s in Berkeley and many other spaghetti and pizza places of the ’60s and ’70s. We usually come in for a dinner salad for each one of us plus an a la carte main dish like spaghetti or raviolis. The servings are nicely generous. And they have wedge potatoes too, very fluffy and very yummy. Very nice staff, there is off street and on street parking. If you want to save a little room, Clancy’s ice cream parlor is just across the street. I mean you can really get a serious calorie fix at this intersection. By the way, the salad is pretty darn healthy, garbanzo beans, beets all sorts of stuff. Highly accommodate you.
8/15/25. Are you still a RAIDERS fan?? This is one of the places to be. Really good crowd watching Monday Night football. Pretty vocal of course. Actually enjoyed it even though the Raiders were losing. We ended up getting our salads and shared a four-piece dinner which is four pieces of chicken, four potato wedges, a couple of pieces of garlic bread and a small coleslaw.

First time and last. It was a Saturday Evening around 5:30pm. We ordered a small BBQ chicken delight with extra chicken. $30ish for the pizza. Although I was hungry, the pizza was extremely disappointing. Like my photos show the crust was paper thin, so thin it couldn’t hold the toppings. Next, the toppings were big chunks. If they make their pizzas thin the toppings should be made smaller to distribute the weight out. Then someone sliced the pizza into small slices. If the slices were bigger I could fold the slice to keep the toppings from falling. The pizza overall was salty, crust was too thin, and toppings were not proportionate. We also had their wedges, which were the size of a 1/4 of a potato. Those were disappointing because it was too much potato and not crispy at all.

I moved away from San Leandro twenty years ago and was excited to have some Porky’s again after all this time. Their chicken was my favorite.

We ordered 12 piece chicken meal and an extra large all meat. The pizza and chicken were ok. But but near as good as I remembered.

The garlic bread was way overcooked and dry, it was pretty much just a large over toasted roll devoid of butter or any garlic flavor.

The skin on the potato wedges was burnt black. Made you wonder if the potatoes and bread wasn’t left over and re heated as we ordered very early for dinner.

The Cole slaw was also missing from our order. The whole thing was pretty disappointing after spending 150 dollars.

This was not the nostalgic meal I had been looking forward too

The food was hot when I picked it up. However, the sauce was probably tasty fresh, it tasted like it had been sitting reheating all day and burned. The ravioli themselves were good, but there was not enough sauce or it was too dried up for the raviolis on the bottom. The pizza had plenty of toppings, but it was unremarkable pizza. The mushrooms were good, but the sauce and crust were just okay, pizza is subjective, it did remind me of pizza at Pizza Hut when I was a kid. The person at the counter didn’t even acknowledge me for several minutes when I got there to pickup our order. I was standing right in front of her, I thought maybe I was in the wrong place for pickup. The inside of the place looks like a good place to meet up with friends especially with kids or to watch sports. I did see they have their own store cars for delivery, maybe if it was delivered I would have been less disappointed, without all the effort to find and drive to a place, the food was just okay.

Superior customer service. Friendly wait staff. Menu consistency. Family friendly. Excellent neighborhood location.
I did not place an order as they closed the register just before I walked in! Darn! My bad.
