Horrible experience this morning! I just wish there was better customer service at restaurants! The staff clearly doesn’t want to be there and doesn’t care. I placed my order online to go and ordered a spinach and mushroom omelette and added a side of avocado after selecting the 1/2 hashbrowns 1/2 grits option with wheat toast and when I selected the avocado I guess you can only choose one side option and it unselected the option for the grits and hash browns. I did not notice that so I take that as my fault but when I got home and opened the box I was extremely disappointed!!! I called to ask what happened to the side and the lady that answered was just completely rude and not even trying to hear me say nothing. She said that’s not what I ordered and that was it. Didn’t offer any solution. Didn’t ask how she could make anything better or if I’d like to even come back for the side. Just completely off putting. Rude!!! I got white soft cold toast and asked about my order of wheat toast and then she finally said “oh I must have grabbed the wrong one.” That was it. SMH. Whatever. I won’t be recommending or ordering from here again. Paid $16 for an omelette with brown avocado and wilted white toast. Waste! Regret it! Should have went to dennys!

He was polite, engaging and thorough in assuring that we had everything we asked for. Our food and coffee ☕️ were served hot (like I like it) and everything we had was delicious. I visited Franks today for breakfast. My server Dee was amazing! She provided fast and accurate service. The food was delivered on time and it was delicious. I had liver and onions with fried okra. I forgot to take a before photo. Ask for Dee on your next visit!

This is a solid brunch spot. I actually found it after walking out of First Watch because of their terrible service and honestly I’m glad I did.
The food here was great and the portion sizes were generous. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Credit to the chef for the omelet it’s hands down the best restaurant omelet I’ve ever had.
Overall it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back.
If you usually go to First Watch give this place a try. The food is better.

I went during lunch time and ordered the Frank’s special. It gives you the option for breakfast or lunch. The chicken fried chicken was excellent as were the sides. Just an fyi go hungry, the portions are very generous. The service was first class. The wait staff was very attentive and had a great attitude. I definitely recommend. Lots of parking in front as well.

This review is for the Franks on Westheimer. I went for breakfast/lunch today 2/2 . Place appeared very clean… very STRONG smell of bleach…but im ok with that…I assume bleach means clean. Ordered chicken wing breakfast, asked for all flats…waitress said no and told me the wings are WHOLE. I repeated what I heard and she said yes whole wings. They were not they were drummettes. Im ok with that…was very surprised when she said whole wings. Anyway. Chicken wings were fresh and hot but too much hard crust on them(batter?) I could only eat a few. I ordered a pancake on the side of my meal…it tasted awful…like too much baking soda or salt or something. I ate only 1 bite. I told this to the waitress. She apologized and asked if I wanted something else. I had already been in the resturaunt over an hour. So I said no. I thought she would take it off the bill since I couldn’t eat it…she didn’t. That was poor customer service, i shouldnt have to pay for yucky food. The biscuit was big and fluffy and tasty. Hashbrowns and eggs were as to be expected. I normally dine at the Telephone Road location…thought I’d try a closer location…ill be going back to Telephone Road. Friendlier servers and better customer service. Food quality overall better there as well.

Very large portions for a good price. food was really good too. usually i don’t like anyone’s else’s chicken fried steak other than my own but the texture of the meat was perfect, not mushy like how most places do it and you can make it spicy! you get warm syrup for your pancakes too.

For the first time going, I would highly recommend it. I ordered a hot chocolate along with the items in the photos. I wasn’t a fan of the hot chocolate, but over all the food was good. I enjoyed the fish the most. I felt like they needed more servers because the two young ladies seemed overwhelmed. Other than that, I had no problem with the establishment. I would definitely return to try other items.
