Food/Beverages: TheThai tea was decent. I probably wouldn’t order it again. We ordered the spring rolls – (2) veggie & (2) chicken – & they were both good. I liked the light, crispy taste of them. The Jungle Curry was good, according to my friend; the Panang Curry with Jungle veggies was good also. I enjoyed the sauce. However, the chicken used in the dish tasted rubbery & chewy. I think they cook a lot of chicken at the beginning of the day & add it to the dishes as the orders come in. I will not ever order the chicken again in my dish, I’d rather have veggies only.
Service: They were quick to take our orders but after we received the dishes they didn’t come back & check on us for a while. Not a big issue, bcuz we were talking, but had we needed something it would have been an issue.
Location/Atmosphere: Great parking. Inside of the restaurant is cozy but a nice space.
We’ll be back… we just won’t order the chicken in our dishes again.
We also were in the restaurant 5-10 minutes after closing and still eating our meals. We asked for to-go boxes and then wanted dessert. (They have wonderful Coconut Ice Cream.) However, we were told that the kitchen was “closed” and they were unwilling to even scoop ice cream into a bowl. It’s not like we asked for anything that required preparation or cooking. We just wanted a scoop in a bowl. They still refused and said the kitchen was closed. This is goes against any restaurant etiquette concerning guests who come in before closing.
They could have come to us before closing and asked if we want ed anything before they closed the kitchen, or they should keep
Someone in the kitchen to handle reasonable requests of guests who are still inside the restaurant. I’ve never been refused like this in all my 65 years on earth!
