We have been coming here for about a year. I see why everyone sits in bar area. It’s more lively out in bar area. For some reason it’s quiet and depressing in front. The food though, is good especially their beef fajita nachos! Man they are by far the best I have ever had and so is their guacamole. It’s rare you get awesome guacamole with no onion flavor. I tried their beef enchiladas and they are okay. I prefer the cheese taco enchiladas if you go with that plate. Their margaritas are great too! The staff never fails. They are all sweet and very attentive.

First time at Hector’s. Have seen good reviews about them and they were right. Great staffs, lots of room even for big group. The building looks small from the main road but they have tons of spaces.
Great selection of food and you can also create your own plate selection. I always get my beef enchiladas and they were good too. The salsa is fresh and you can taste and see the ingredients. Big plus on that. Highly recommend them.
Next time will have to try their catfish!

Food flavorless. Chili relleno was greasy and the oil was old. Ground beef had no flavor at all. Fish tacos unseasoned. Queso out of a can. And don’t get a drink. $17 for a tequila old fashioned. Waitress was nice and attentive. She was the only upside.

Staff was attentive; the chicken was seasoned perfectly. Rice and beans pretty good ; the salsa and chips that were bottomless were a great surprise

Sooo gooood!! My first time here and I will be back! One of the menu items they have is chile relleno which is one of my favorites to try at a new place. In the past I have asked other places to make it burrito style with the chile relleno and rice wrapped in a flour tortilla. Normally restaurants say no… but they said YES… AND even asked if I wanted sauce and cheese on top which is really the way I like it
It was so good I had to write this to tell y’all how good it was!!!
Since I ordered to go they gave me WARM chips and salsa in the bag which totally hit the spot! The staff was excellent and neatly packed everything I needed so that I could enjoy my meal.

I love Mexican food. Was raised on it. This is some of the beat I have ever had and that is saying a lot. Plus. the service was exceptional. A repeat customer in the making! Had the Carne Asada with churos beans and queso enchilada. Soooo good.

We have been to Hector’s on several occasions. We have learned stay away on Mondays. Our service was terrible. We had to stand around for a table (3 customers in the whole restaurant), we had to ask for menus, we had to go get our own tableware, we went to 4 tables to find some salt and pepper. The portions were a joke (see photo). My wife had the lunch portion of chicken fajitas. There were 5 small pieces of chicken (mainly undercooked onions and peppers). We ordered the small queso primo. There was barely enough for a child. No way there was enough fo 2 adults. Everything was semi warm. The waiter never refilled our drinks. Not a good visit at all.

I was hopeful after reading so many good reviews, but we were super disappointed with this place. I tried it with my family for the first time tonight. It was over $70 for 4 people. I got the pork street tacos, asked what kind of pork it was and she said “chopped pork” like al pastor…so I was expecting shredded pork butt or at least chopped pork, but it was literally bland ground pork with zero seasoning and nothing on top. Husband got the chile relleno with shredded chicken and said that there was a lot of chicken inside, but again, zero flavor and quite bland. The rice was super salty and so dried out; it was crunchy. Beans actually had decent flavor, and the chips and salsa were decent but nothing to gush over….combined with the slow service and high price for the quality, it was overall quite disappointing. It is a very tex-mex restaurant for people who don’t like spices or flavors and don’t know what real Mexican food tastes like.

The carne asada was amazing! Honestly it is as close the authentic asada as you can get. The chips and tacos are homemade. Overall a great place to grab some Mexican food. Queso is more of a cheese dip, will definitely be back. Atmosphere was also good and staff was attentive.
