We recently revisited one of my favorite neighborhood spots, and it never fails to impress! This restaurant combines freshness, flavor, and family-friendly charm effortlessly.
The menu boasts a variety of dishes, but my go-to is the Greek-style salad with chicken kabob. Favorites: Cod Fish Fillets, Cheese Pizza, Hawaiian Hamburger.
The ingredients are undoubtedly fresh, and the portion sizes are generous without breaking the bank. Every bite is bursting with flavor and authenticity.
What sets this place apart, especially for families, is the inviting atmosphere. My kids love to eat here! The restaurant is clean and welcoming, complete with an aquarium that delights children. The staff are friendly and accommodating, making sure every visit is enjoyable.
In summary, this restaurant ticks all the boxes for me. From the delicious food to the family-friendly ambiance and attentive service. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a welcoming setting. I’ll certainly be back for more!
You have put together a great celebration for today.
You can tell the food is made from stretch with care about the quality of ingredients and making it special. The zucchini straws were the best and celebrated the veggie over the breading. The crab dip was cheesy and simple. Our table had the Crab Melt, Shrimp Salad Sandwich, Crab Melt Sandwich, Meatloaf & Stuffed Potato.
Don’t overlook this place or think it’s just another bar. The pride they have in their food and their team is top notch. Our toddler was with us and Tyfany our waiter went out of the way to tell some of the bar patriots to watch the language around the families as their offices got louder. She was so entire with us and the whole table even anticipating when we needed to leave getting towards bed time. It was just great service but a genuine person. Can’t wait to return.
Let’s move onto the crab and corn chowder which was more like a pudding. It was salty and, yes, over cooked. The corn was chewy and there was no chowder. It was thicker than mashed potatoes!
The baked potato was hard and dry. The Cajun catfish nuggets were salty, oily, and, yes, over cooked. The smoked bluefish looked good, but did not taste a good.
I am no food expert but I know about well prepared food. I am from New England so I feel that I have experienced my fair share of great seafood and this was not it. Far from it. I’m not sure who has been writing rave reviews but they certainly dropped the ball with me. If I may make a suggestion: Skip Neptune.
