Stopped by Raising Cane’s in Abilene, TX, and had a great experience. The drive-through was very swift and efficient, which is always appreciated. I did have to wait about four minutes for fresh chicken, but honestly, who’s going to complain about fresh food? Definitely worth the short wait.
Zachary was the one taking my order and handing me the food at the window — he was very respectful and polite, which made the experience even better. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what you hope for when you’re craving Cane’s.
All in all, a solid visit. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 just because of the slight wait, but again, fresh chicken is worth it. I’ll definitely be back!

I picked up a large mobile order for my workplace this weekend and went through the drive-thru to pick it up. 1/5 the order was missing. When I asked for a drink carrier, the employee at the window kept mocking and making comments to his coworkers about how I asked for a drink carrier for my drinks, instead of simply letting me know there was only one on the order. He said it repeatedly under his breath, loud enough for me to hear, and it was very unprofessional and unnecessary.
I wasn’t upset about not receiving a carrier; I asked because it was a big order and I assumed there were multiple drinks. What bothered me was the attitude and the mocking response instead of straightforward communication.
I hope management addresses this, because a simple, respectful explanation would’ve gone a long way. Customer service at the window needs improvement.
Edit: I was able to go back and receive my order in full + some from the GM, amazing communication, shared my experience and was able to resolve the issue in a manner of moments. Thank you Cane’s GM for being available and ready to help!

Couldn’t decide what to eat after work.. canes or Panda Express..so I asked the group chat to pick one …canes it was.. definitely did not disappoint and did not regret stopping by for the first time in Abilene.. I want to thank the whole crew for the fast service and fresh hot tenders.. super clean restaurant as well way to go!! Will be stopping again in 2 days.

Came in at opening to a nice clean and comfortable restaurant. Staff were friendly and not overly fake-friendly which is nice. Music was not too loud, and had an interesting mix of artists playing. Food took a little longer since they had just opened, but totally worth the wait. Eating in the restaurant is definitely better than taking it to go; chicken and fries were hot and crispy and the garlic bread wasn’t soggy from box condensation. Saved a couple of tenders to go and ate them cold, they still had a nice crunch and tasted great! Will definitely be back.

We we’re just passing through the area and stopped. This was our first Raising Cane’s experience. The place was packed but food was being cooked up quickly! Our meal was fresh and very good. I think I’ll try a sandwich next time… I enjoyed the tenders and the bread slice this go around. The fries are so-so… But that’s just a preference. I like fresh cut fries. Considering the type of fries they were, they were good. Hot and crispy. Customer service was on par. Everyone was helpful and polite.
I actually prefer their lemonade over Chick-fil-A. 🙂
