I’m going this review on behalf of my mom who is older and had a horrible experience with customer service! She has gone multiple times because this is the closest to her. She went today and upon entering was left standing with no one attending or even acknowledging she was there… she was the only customer there since they had just opened. She had to ask if they would take her order and they directed her to the kiosk. She said she didn’t know how to use it so they begrudgingly took her order. Overall they were incredibly rude and dismissive and not a great experience.

I have read the reviews from some of the Google reviewers.. and I can agree to some of the complaints. BUT! I can disagree with 2 complaints. Let’s start with the customer service as some complained.. I did go one time & it wasn’t the best experience, but hear me out! The place was understaffed & someone had called off.I was greeted by genie soft spoken nice young lady.I explained my issues about waiting & she quickly explained & I understood life happens.Genie gave me a little extra side for the inconvenience and I left.I came back to the same El Pollo Loco but a different day.I was greeted by a sweet lady named Carmen, the manager.I did see Genie who also remembered me as well.
I had a hard time at the machine & Carmen & Genie assisted me. I also did see complaints on the quality of the food,thus far, my food has been great.I will continually go, and if anything goes south,I will come back to let everyone know.

Every time I go through the drive thru, I’m always disappointed. Service is slow, even when I’m the only car there. This time I’m leaving a one star rating (lower if I had a choice) because I’m fed up! The chicken legs were the size smaller than my palm – and I’m a small adult! Chicken was dry as well. I ordered for lunch around 11am, and seems like they gave me chicken from last night! Don’t go here or you’ll just waste your money. You’re better off getting fast food on the other side of this shopping mall – InNOut, Jersey Mikes, Jollibee, or Flame Broiler.

I really like this place. Compared to Taco Bell or McDonalds the food you get here is so much better and you get it for a lower price. If you want a fast lunch option you should try it.

Worst Pollo Loco I’ve EVER been too! First issue: I pulled up to the drive through and received no response. No worries, I waited, but after 5 minutes of nothing, I said “hello?” A guy on the speaker says “sorry, I’m the only one doing everything”….WHAT?? I should have left, but decided to give it a chance. After another 10 minutesof waiting, someone on the intercom finally takes half my order before cutting me off and asking me to pull up. Once I pulled up, the cashier apologized and asked me what side orders I wanted. I paid for my order and waited some more. The whole time, they were blasting rap music from the inside the dining area to the point you can barely hear them when they ask you questions. When I asked for a sauce, as he went to go retrieve it, he stopped to talk to his co worker about his schedule?? Really??? I’ve been in this drive through for at LEAST 30-40 minutes already. I was done with this place. AND TO TOP IT OFF. LOOK AT THE MAC AND CHEESE THEY GAVE ME. DISGUSTING!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
