First and last visit… Huge meh on this place. First off, the prices are exorbitant for what the food is… not to mention the quality and portions… and strange atmosphere, with the empty-ish decor and non-cohesive decor giving a melancholy and much-lower-rent vibe than the pricing leaves one desiring… $10 for standard chips (with a strange, non-authentic guacamole that tasted to be mixed with mayo or something?) that I was only unfortunate enough to taste because I mistakenly said “yes” when the server asked if we wanted chips as we were perusing the menu… offering such as this is typically free at other Mexican places. After this, my wife and I decided to skip ordering, but still ordered Mixtos tacos plates for our two kids ($20 per plate). Not too terrible on these, but let’s put it this way: Every taco offering I’ve ever had at any taco food truck – ever- has been better. Side of rice was barely lukewarm and bland. Overall, just a weird, something-is-not-quite-right feel to the whole experience. Wildly unimpressive, def. cannot recommend.

The staff and chefs at Pura Vida care. They care about service and quality of food. The presentation and preparation is always delightful. The combination of flavors and textures is always so perfect. I’ve had nearly everything on the menu, and in my opinion can’t go wrong with anything. I prefer the salads and tacos–they are my go to. They also offer a combination of optional sauces that are amazing and go with pretty much anything on the menu. McMinnville is lucky to have a restaurant like this. Great location, friendly staff, great food, and even an outdoor seating option! I would highly recommend trying it out if you are in town and want to adventure into some great tasty flavorful foods!

Good food and good service. I’m vegan so good selections available if they leave off cheese and sour cream but options are reduced. I hade veggie tacos and veggie empanadas as well as sides of guac and rice/beans. (Also solid magaritas). It’s a bit pricey compared to other establishments but I’d recommend for a date night but less for a family dinner.

On-street parking is limited but the restaurant is located in the heart of downtown on 3rd street which is very walkable and close to free public parking lots. The flavors are outstanding. Family friendly and reasonably accessible location.
