I come here many times for their vegetarian dishes. I always order their Bún Bò Huế Chay, which is like the highest recommendation for everyone. It’s quite noisy in there, but still love their lively vibe. Definitely a nice place for everyone to hang out, have lunch or dinner!

This is one of the best vegan restaurants I have ever been to, truly a hidden gem in Kensington Market. It’s no surprise that the place is always packed. The food is bursting with flavor, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. I can’t wait to come back and try their sandwiches next time!

this vegan spot (one of my favs in the city) always makes me question why I even eat meat in the first place. It’s a great spot not just for vegans and vegetarians, but also for folks who usually stick to poultry or red meat and aren’t big on seafood but still want to try authentic Vietnamese dishes. You should definitely give this place a shot.

We ended up ordering a full spread: fresh rolls, bowls, and a few other dishes. Everything was super flavourful, came out fast, and the portions were huge – enough for two full meals. The plates are colorful, and packed with delicious flavours.

Also, the prices are insane for what you get. I ordered around 4 rolls and 4 main dishes, and the total with tip was still under $90 –
rare to find that value these days. Saigon Lotus has become a comfort spot for me, and I keep going back. Highly recommend.

This fully vegan Vietnamese restaurant has built a loyal fan base for its generous portions, cozy atmosphere, and dishes that offer both comfort and surprise. Whether you’re a lifelong vegan or just veg-curious, Saigon Lotus invites you to sit down, slow down, and savour every bite.

We’ve been dining here for the past three years since our first date and it became a memorable special place with our now-our lil toddler.

The flavour of each food is absolutely delicious. Vermicelli noodles are our fav and it’s highly recommended. We love every texture of the different vegetables.

Service is amazing, very welcoming and friendly.

Please note, there are staircases to the main entrance. Bathrooms are in the basement.

Green P parking is nearby, 2 min walk.

Tried Saigon Lotus recently, and it’s such a great spot for Vietnamese food!

The food was delicious, and the taro latte was especially good, highly recommend trying it!

Perfect place if you’re looking for tasty vegan Asian food options. Definitely worth a visit! ✨

Excellent service. Delicious pho, and you won’t miss meat when you are here.

The only downside:
The sugar cane juice was watered down and nowhere near what sugarcane juice should taste like.

As someone who is not vegan, this place has some amazing food! It was very busy on a Friday night, but service was good regardless! I ordered the golden curry vermicelli soup and it was sooo good! Portion size was worth the cost – not too pricey! Overall excellent. Would definitely visit again!

The meals are surprisingly more expensive than I thought for a place that does not serve meat. I was not expecting many of the dishes to cost at the $15-$20 range.

Food items I enjoyed are the tofu-seitan and the BBQ vegan meat. What was disappointing was the Vegan Butter Chicken ($17). The dish contained a lot of potatoes. I would have preferred it to hold a lot more tofu or whatever meat substitute. Even then, all that the dish was was a typical butter chicken dish replacing the actual meal. The curry was nothing special.

A service interaction that left a sour taste in my mouth was when I requested a spoon and fork to use for my Vegan Butter Chicken meal. The waitress just motioned that there is already a spoon included in the dish and that there are chopsticks available. I, personally, would have wanted to eat my dish using a spoon and fork compared to eating it with chopsticks.

The restaurant should have different utensils available and ready to provide to customers having their personal preferences.

Saigon lotus is very busy restaurant, food was yummy and affordable. The quantity is amazing, it’s really hard to finish everything we order. I liked all of the dishes we ordered except for tofu platter, it was kind of oily and felt it made us full. One annoying thing is the service was too late, had to wait 2 hours for the dessert. Felt like they were short staffed. But I still would wanna go back there and try their menu.

Love this place. The Golden Curry soup is the best soup I’ve ever had. Delicious, flavourful and filling. All their good food is great, Vegan and very well priced. Fresh rolls are refreshing and tasty. All their fake meats are incredibly close the real thing. There is a washroom in their basement.
