I don’t usually eat out for a bunch of reasons, but every now and then, I stop by this Jack in the Box. I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while, and today’s the day!
Overall, this place is rocks!! The tacos actually look and taste like the ones on TV—crispy, fresh, and not overly greasy like at other locations. We’ve also had the croissants, and they were spot on.
Today, I tried the 2 burgers for $6 deal. I’ll be honest—my expectations were low, but I was wrong! The food was good, and you can tell the team takes pride in what they do.
The staff here is friendly and hardworking. Even when it gets busy, they handle it well and make sure everything comes out right.
Solid 5 stars from me. Great job to everyone at this location!

Went through the drive thru on 9/25/25 @ 12:15am. We ordered the “munchie box” and got the spicy chicken sandwich with two tacos and onion rings. The chicken sandwich was hard as a rock and I’m not sure if it was the mayo or veggies but something tasted sour and gross, we couldn’t finish it. The young girl at the window was rude, I gave her my card (which you can only swipe) and she said it didn’t work and it got declined but she was only trying to tap the card which is something my card does not do, after I told her to swipe it, boom it worked. She didn’t even think to look at the card. We said “thank you” when our food was handed to us and she shut the window. The only good food item was the onion rings but it wasn’t good enough to make us go back. Service was horrible and the food was gross and inedible. If you’re going to charge people for food so you can make a dollar, at least make their food worth it and have a good attitude. I work in the food industry it’s not that hard to be polite, smile, and make something worth eating.

Whoever was running the drive-thru on September 23, 2025, around 6:30 p.m. absolutely deserves recognition. We ordered through the app and went to pick it up. The car in front took a little longer, but once we got to the window, the employee went out of his way to make our food fresh. He had us wait in the front, and within minutes we had a hot, perfectly accurate order (something we truly appreciate since past visits often had our orders wrong). I wish we had gotten his name because he was fantastic!

This is the Jack in Box to go to if in the Natomas Area. Always have inventory, speedy, food looks good and tastes good. Although I live next to the del paso one we will go to the El camino because inventory is always stocked and my mobile orders are actually filled. This means no headaches which is the purpose of fast food to save time, stress, and for those in pain no pain from cooking. Avoid the Del paso one you will never get your refund, never has inventory stocked. Save your self the trouble if in this area go to the El Camino or Norwood Jack in the box.

The food was good. It was a little slower than expected for a fast food spot and it was not busy. The staff was nice and patient. The inside seating was freezing and the outside smelled of weed so we were forced to park away from the restaurant and eat in the car. We are not from the area but I wouldn’t ever go back or recommend others.

Update: Went again recently after months, and several things were off about my pickup order. I didn’t get ANY ranch as requested. The chicken nuggets were cold. The bun for the jumbo jack was stale, and it barely had any condiments. The curly fries were the only saving grace; bomb as usual. Service was good. But without any deals, it’s just too expensive for what you get. Also, a lot of digital app deals are consistently unavailable at this location.
Original March 2025: So I don’t have fast food very often. But I always come here for the Curly fries; they are always on point.
If you can get an app deal for jumbo jacks; they actually are pretty decent. Love the buttermilk ranch too. Tacos aren’t bad either. And I’ve always had friendly service.
