Visited here today around 5PM for a quick bite. Pleasantly surprised, Kate our server (we dined in and did not do the hibachi because of time constraints) was pleasant and the service was impeccable.
I order the lobster, filet and scallops over hibachi, my son got the kids meal steak over kampai rice and my lady got the steak and shrimp over hibachi. All were perfectly cooked to medium well, seasoned and proportionate.
The ginger salad and soup were great as well but the spicy tuna was to die for. Great texture, flavor and really fresh.
I ordered a whiskey sour and Sapporo and the missus ordered a lemon drop martini. The whiskey sour was probably the best I’ve had in a long time. The portions were well thought out, the whiskey complimented the sour and nothing overpowered the other.
I’m a sucker for great service and an even bigger one for better food. Ask for Kate and you won’t be disappointed.

When you first walk in, there’s an unpleasant sewer-like smell. The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived—only two of us were dining—and it still took about 10 minutes for the waitress to come to the table. Her explanation was that she was busy taking multiple to-go orders.

Once we were served, the portions were very small, and an automatic 18% gratuity was already added to the bill. At the end of the meal, we were still prompted to leave an additional tip, which felt unnecessary. The water served is tap water, so I wouldn’t recommend ordering it.

Also, unlike most hibachi restaurants, there were no entertaining chef tricks or interactions, which was disappointing if you’re expecting the full hibachi experience.

That said, the food itself was actually very good. Flavor-wise, I have no complaints. If this place addressed the smell, portion sizes, and tipping structure, it could easily be packed with customers and have a line out the door.

To say that we are disappointed would be a gross understatement. We were seated quickly, but the host made someone move to have us sit down which created a hostile environment at the table. Then when she chef showed up there was no interaction. I ordered filet mignon and scallops. I got 3 scallops and half of a filet. I was served around 3/4 of vegetables and a small bowl of rice. The plate was around half full while other plates were heaping. One customer had 2 filets and chicken. Literally every single person at both our table and the adjoining table has a lot of leftovers, while neither my wife nor I even bothered with a box for the small bit of rice we had left. We are not big eaters and usually have 2 meals left from the leftovers we get at other hibachi places. We asked to speak to a manager and the host talked to us. He was not only not helpful or apologetic, but he was also rude. This was a huge waste of money, and the mandatory %18 tip for a party of 2 was not earned. I would post a picture of the 4 oz of protein that I paid $33 for but I don’t see a place to do that.

This place never disappoints, always has great tasting food. The visit tonight is a little better with a very pleasant server, Irina! The tall chef cooked my fillet and scallop perfectly! The fried rice was tasty and my all time favorite ginger salad was delicious! Vegetables were also cooked to perfection! Will be back again!

A very nice place to get your hibachi experience. The chef are amazing and work hard. Food is seasoned well, not too salty or too sweet. Their cocktails are tasty, and not as expensive as other places. Sushis are good as well. An overall pleasant restaurant to stop by.

The food tastes great & the Chef that we had cares about you treating dinner as dinner by not being on the cell phone while eating & I love that! It’s too much Technology being used these days at the table instead of eating. I’ve seen people come into a restaurant together, and everyone is on the cell phone! Are you kidding me?! Great Chef & comical! My only drawback is on that day the Manager was expecting a slow day & only had 2 Chefs cooking & it got busy.

The food was… (I don’t say this often)… totally delicious. Not one single complaint. Nothing but compliment. We all had a great meal. I enjoyed the House (beef, chicken, and shrimp) fried rice. Some things are only cooked in the kitchen. Mines was cooked in the back, but we still were able to watch others’ who ordered vegetables, scallops, and fried rice get there’s cooked.
Great place.

Very disappointing hibachi experience. The fried rice tasted like straight butter with little to no seasoning, and overall the food lacked flavor.
What made it worse was the atmosphere—none of the chefs were entertaining, and the energy in the room was dull. Part of going to hibachi is the fun experience, and there was none. Sadly, both the food and service missed the mark.

The food was so amazing I almost started crying. I was eating like there was no tomorrow! The chef was so nice, and he was extremely funny. The lady who assisted me and my family was very funny and kind. She’s so sweet to. I love this place, and will for definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you guys so much!
