i found this place by asking around while trying to get an aperol spritz. it was a really cute area with some live music playing. the spritz was really good and the salad was appetizing with lots of different flavors. the warm salad and warm shrimp threw me off a bit, but everything still tasted good. if i went back, i’d order the pasta and the cheese bowl for the full experience.

We came at the tail end of happy hour and there was a guy preforming on stage, so the ambiance was lovely and we were able to get a glass of wine for 7$. However, my issues were with the unfriendly staff and the food. The staff seemed busy setting up for the busier dinner rush and looked visibly annoyed anytime we asked for service. At the end they also made me go inside to check out, and I hadn’t seen anyone else be sent inside. Secondly, the calamari was super rubbery and my Chicken pasta was off. I left over half of it on the plate and didn’t go back for my left overs… I assume their pizza is better, but I didn’t get it.

Food: my wife and I both ordered a pizza for dinner. The pizzas were very good, and came out quickly. I had the meat lovers which had good flavor, and she had the cheese pizza. The prices for the size are a bit much. $22 for a personal size pizza is a bit much. The meat lovers had an acceptable amount of toppings, but nothing to write home about. They are thin crust, which I prefer, and are wood fired which added that nice burnt end taste.
Service: it took about 10 minutes for our server to come over and even greet us. It was busy, but a “good evening, I will be right with you” goes a long way. The food came out quickly which was nice. I ordered a second beer which was a Chill in a bottle with a lime in it. That takes about 60 seconds to grab, but it took about 5 minutes to get. Overall the service was a 3 star. The 3 stars ultimately come from the pizza coming quickly and not much else. We were hungry, so the food quickly was a pleasant surprise.
Atmosphere: it is LOUD in this restaurant. I would not recommend this establishment if you are at all interested in having a conversation which anyone you are accompanied by. The live music outside along with the noise inside is overwhelming. This makes the entire experience to be unpleasant.
Conclusion: this was a visit in a pinch. Our flight was cancelled and we were put up in a hotel nearby. The food vouchers given to us by the airlines were not going to cover food at any of the authorized restaurants. I would maybe do a take out pizza from here, but would not dine in again. Between the service and the sheer volume inside of the restaurant it was a huge drawback.

Unfortunately the food took an hour to arrive and when it came the pasta lacked flavour and was not fresh and the burger was very dry.
They did give us another round of drinks to apologise for the slow service.
There was a singer performing on a stage nearby and she was so fun and engaging and had a great set list. She kept our mood up and sounded great.
Maybe sit here for drinks to listen to the singer but I do not recommend paying for food.

6 of us had a late lunch there while walking about and my wife and I shared a thin crust pizza and a seafood salad, fruitti de Mare. I have to say we were far from disappointed. The pizza was perfect and the seafood salad was huge, filled with shrimp and had a very refreshing taste. Everyone else raved about their lunch. In general, wherever we ate while in Aruba we were very pleased with our meals.

Given that we were staying next door at the Renaissance hotel. I walked over to Casa Tua to make a reservation. Niccole, the hostess cheerfully made the reservation. When we arrived, our waitress, Joyce was dismissive and uninformative. Throughout our time there, we felt like we were an annoyance to Joyce yet Niccole came promptly and cheerfully when she knew we had a request. Joyce’s service was 1 star, Niccole’s was 5 star hence the 3 star rating..

Full story: We were walking around the marketplace after dinner and my wife wanted to have dessert, so we decided to try this place out. When the waitress came to take our order, we got one dessert and a drink. She the looked at us annoyed, and said in an unfriendly tone “that’s it?”, and walked away with the impression that we were wasting her time as she was not going to get a lot in tips. The dessert was average. And subsequently she did not return to us until I had to ask someone else for the bill. She returned and asked if I would like to leave a tip of course. At this point I considering not tipping for the horrible service, but in good faith, I said yes I’ll leave $2. She said “$2?” like she was shocked. Definitely unsuitable to be in the service industry

Service was horrible. The waiter was unfriendly, dismissive and looked annoyed to be there. No response to greeting and the handling of food was unsanitary. The food was overcooked and very salty. The only thing pleasant about this place is the live music

This is definitely no place to come back. Food has a good presentation, but there is better food for a better price. You are specting to for a better taste in a restaurant with this prestige in Aruba. I’m very disappointed with the customer service in general. Paella is not for two, is for one person, and is more chicken than sea food.
