I’ve avoided eating at IHOP for years because no matter where they never cook bacon the way I like it “Crispy but Not Burnt”. So I get a happy birthday $10 gift card from the closest IHOP. I’m willing to give it another try. So we go to the restaurant and after some confusion as to where the front door is we are seated and check out the menu. First impression is that there are a lot of reasonable prices. I’m attracted to the steak omelette and my wife to the fruit crepe combo. We ordered both and both got hash brown potatoes. She got bacon as well. My omelette was very good and more than I could eat. Her crepes were very good. However her bacon was undercooked. She sent it back and the next batch was a bit burnt but eatable. Hash browns were good. All in all an OK experience. Just don’t order bacon. We will probably go back and order what IHOP does well and avoid what they don’t. Servers are very nice and helpful. Cost is reasonable. They do know how to cook eggs.

The batter provides structure and lift due to its leavening agents, and it also contains gluten, which is a consideration for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities.

Our server was awesome! Cora was very personable and understanding. One of the BEST servers I’ve ever had. The food was great too. The eggs Benedict was delicious. They gave us our food in a timely manner

We had breakfast and even though some prices went up, it was overall cheaper than most. The service was quick and the waitress was friendly and attentive. I usually eat breakfast at Denny’s so I don’t have an opinion about the other meals served there. If you can find one, it’s worth a stop.

Initial server (dyed long blond hair) was rude when entering the establishment, “what can I help you with?” Could tell she does not care for POC, (her interaction with customers after me told on her & she didn’t bother to let the server know I was waiting in her (Nicole’s) section) l won’t be returning, during the remainder of my contract here in WV. Anywhoo…. Nicole was great! Wishing her nothing but success!

Waited 20 minutes just to be greeted by server. Then waited 40 for some pancakes and two sandwiches. A couple came in about 30 minutes after and was nearly done with their food by the time we got ours. Only saw our server twice. We were placed in a horrible spot behind the DoorDash pickup and by the front door, but couldn’t ask to move because no one was around for 20 minutes like I said. Food was decent but service sucked.

We got the veggie pesto white omelettes that were amazing! This healthy option had sliced avocados, mushrooms, and tomatoes! The warm green tea was a comfort on a snowy day! The service was exceptional on New Year’s Day! Very friendly sincere staff. Loved the Mountaineer team spirit! Conveniently located, and plenty of parking. This location is brilliantly situated near West Virginia University with long hours to serve hungry students! We definitely would recommend this IHOP!

Always read your receipt. They charge you more than what the menu says. The manager did not want to come out to see us. Unprofessional. My husband got the sandwich where you picked your own protein and there doesn’t say extra on chicken and they want to charge you extra and the menu does not say that. And my son-in-law got the chicken where you pick your sauce and we were charged for sauce. It doesn’t say that you pay for sauce. It says pickle sauce. That IHOP I would not recommend it to anyone. The manager should have come to our table. They was not busy only two other tables were taken. I ordered gluten-free pancakes. They charge you a higher price than what the menu says. Please pay attention to your receipt

Can’t get in unless you’re a student or an employee at the hospital. After a horrible appointment we just wanted a good meal but instead we got my wheelchair out of the car and every door was locked. Please disclose this on your site or Google profile so you aren’t doing this to more people.
