I wanted to show my support to my favorite but struggled fast food chain. But the Derby Wendy’s must be struggling to find employees. I went there on a Saturday at 5pm and only the drive through was open. there were about 7 cars in line, several grew tired of waiting and left. After I ordered and paid I was told to pull forward and wait for my food to be delivered. It took at least 12 minutes to receive my food. Not a “Fast Food” experience, the Diner next store would have been quicker. The food quality was there. Me and my BF are happy with their burgers and frosty. Don’t go there at dinner time on the weekend or be prepared to wait like a diner!

Came for a quick bite for breakfast and completely regretted it. Sandwich was disgusting, bacon not cooked, and the French toast almost gave me a heart attack from the grease it was sitting in. Staff didn’t seem to care much for the upkeep of the place, which should be clean so early in the morning. Stains and cobwebs everywhere. Don’t waste your money here. I quit fast food.

Really disappointed with this Wendy’s visit. The chicken sandwich was severely undercooked — I got stomach sick after just a few bites. Fries were hot and crispy, but that’s about the only positive. The strawberry lemonade was good, too. The cashier at the drive-thru window didn’t say a single word to me — no greeting, no total, nothing — just handed me the drink and moved on. Unprofessional and unpleasant experience overall.

On 10/18/25 at approximately 11:45 PM, I pulled up to the drive-thru and was immediately told, “Hi, we’re closed,” as soon as I reached the ordering speaker. When I asked why, since the posted closing time is midnight, I was told they had “run out of meat.” I find that very hard to believe and it seemed more like the employee simply didn’t want to take any more orders. Anyway, I hope she no longer works night shift if she can’t handle it.

It’s been a while since my last visit to this location and things have taken a turn for the worse…
It started with me ordering the $6 Biggie Bag and asking for a total. Why I wasn’t given a total and had to ask for it is another issue. I was then told $7.51, so I asked how this could be. At that point, the woman Working the drive thru said, “Oh, you want the small?” I said yeah, the $6 one that I asked for. Strike one…
I was asked which sauce I wanted, and I specified that I wanted the hot sauce, which turned out to not matter – after paying and being given my stuff, I found a parking space and figured I would take a quick lunch break and parked. This is when I discovered that I wasn’t given and sauce. Strike two. Now usually I would have already driven away and been sauceless, but I
got lucky…
I went inside and there was a crowd of people at the counter, so I had to wait a bit and work through the inside debacle. Eventually, I made my way to the counter and was given my sauce.
When I got back to my van, that’s when I realized I was also not given a straw. This makes drinking a soda while driving a bit difficult, but luckily, I had my coffee mug and was able to transfer it over. I didn’t want to use a paper cup with no lid on it and you can’t really drink from a lid designed to hold a straw…. I definitely was not going back inside. This would be a third strike in this one visit. At this point, how hot do you think my food was? Answer… Not very.
Awful experience this time, not typical of a Wendy’s location and not what I had experienced here previously.
Often times when I go to Wendy’s, I get the Dave’s single cheeseburger (see photo from previous visit), maybe the biggie bag is just too much for these people to handle here, but then again, when I get the Dave’s single cheeseburger, I always order it without ketchup or mayonnaise, some more opportunity for them to screw up my order , so who knows.
The following Tuesday afternoon/yesterday as I was passing through the area, I considered stopping here and decided it was probably not a good move figuring the same incompetent person is probably working the drive-through again.
Hopefully somebody turns things around and writes the ship before this location sinks because of the idiocy at the drive-through. Then again, it did not seem to be limited to just the drive-through.

Literally just needed a quick bite after a very long day on the road. I’m from out of town, and I was seriously stuck in line for a good 20 minutes when there was only 2 people in front of me.
In addition I saw one lady get out of her car and walk up to the drive thru window to talk about missing items.
Then they gave me the wrong order..

Well, the photos describe it all. I ordered here a couple of days ago, took the food home, and as soon as I took the first bite, a long hair inbeded in the meat patty. Needless to say I threw up a couple of times that night and the following day.

I don’t think I’ll be coming to this location or any Wendy’s for the foreseeable future. If this is the level of hygiene that they aspire too, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Best to stay away from here.

The food I ordered was soggy and tasted old, the fries looked dirty and tasted like they were soaked in old or dirty oil.

probably the worst location. service is nasty and food was raw. they half the time forget food even if its just one combo ordered. i’d rather go to one in another town if i had to pick.

My experience here today was awful. Thankfully someone named K came to the counter and was just amazing. Now the first person that came to speak to me with an attitude was just nasty. It was unnecessarily and unprofessional. Could not get her name but I won’t be coming back to this location and I was a regular
