Chili tastes great. I was given crackers this time. Frisco Melt tastes great but is too greasy and sloppy looking. Definitely needed napkins because even the outside of the wrapper was greasy. Unfortunately, they did not give us any nor did they give us a straw for the drink. The drink had no ice.

We stopped going to steak n shake years ago because service was so slow. We decided to give it another shot. Now they have ordering kiosks which I think actually helps as you are no longer waiting on a server. Milkshakes were great and kids liked their burgers and fries.

THE DRIVE THRU ATTENDANT hooked. Me. UP. like as if I was her best friend. I had the crispiest tenders I’ve had in my ENTIRE LIFE. The staff was killing it with their customer service skills. I was literally just coming home from an event downtown, and just wanted some food to “tie me over” and turns out this meal was LIFE CHANGING MY DUDES. If you don’t go to this stake n shake then you, my friend, are losing out on not only crispy tenders – but also crispy service.

I would not go to this restaurant. They only take orders via Self servekiosk. I had four people in my party. Every person in my party ordered a type of chili. I paid for the total in the amount of $46.99. I was confronted by employees who stated that they ran out of chili because they were so busy.
They asked if I could order anything else. Knowing that the Bill, would it be much less without the chili, I decided to just put in another order and be refunded my money. The Manager On duty stated that he avoided the items off the check and that I would be refunded my money within five business days. He also told me to contact the manager in the morning to make sure that He refunded in my bank appropriately
Nothing showed pending at my bank account. Only posted. I called the next day and the phone rang and rang and rang. Someone picked up and said hello and then hung up.
I decided to go into the restaurant the next day. I talked to the manager on duty who is different but he gave me a phone number of Jerry. He said that if I had any questions to send him a receipt And he should text back.
Jerry responded to my initial text stating that the transaction is pending. Which is false. I repeated to him that this Transaction was posted at my bank account.
Jerry has not responded to any of my texts since. On top of that, all the corporate lines for steak ‘n Shake Are no longer. Stay away from this place if you want to keep your money
I also find that it’s ridiculous that the money that was put as a tip for food that I did not receive was given to the restaurant employees. I asked them about that specifically and they said that goes on our paycheck.

Went for lunch one sat recently with my girlfriend, went specifically for the new tallow fries and they came out cold. When I tried to nicely mention it I asked if they could just throw the same ones back in the fryer or switch them out, the kid working the counter had to go check with the boss. The supposed owner “Gerry” came out and was just rude from the beginning. He did throw them back in the fryer but his mannerisms and tone made my girlfriend uncomfortable enough to not even want to finish her meal and he only let them go for about 10 seconds so they came up completely soaked in oil. Looking back, we shouldn’t have been surprised at his attitude given how the lobby looked and with how much the staff seemed on edge around him. Seriously must suck working here, take the time to drive to the a different location if you’re wanting good steak and shake that badly.

From the employees to the manager and the quality of the food here has been wonderful!!!! Some other steak and shake have bad management… I think this one has improved tremendously!!!!!! Would recommend! Food was delicious. Customer service 10/10

It’s not the same place since they changed over to a diner but it’s really good no matter what and I thoroughly enjoyed actually going. I miss a lot of the waitresses, and I miss the fact that they no longer serve breakfast, which was believe it or not one of my most favorite things about this location and the Steak ‘n Shake brand. And they always had really good sweet tea and extremely large cups that you could take to go, which made a real difference. Gonna miss the original steak and shakes but the food is still consistent. It’s still good and it’s still very inexpensive.

I was waiting for my food for over 15minutes because there was a guy making food that wasn’t do anything and finally started to make my food and took absolutely forever to even bag my food and hand it out. Seemed like he didn’t care enough about my service and food staying warm..when I was waiting the manager had already thought the food was given out until I asked him about it and then I was offered a free meal for the long wait and the inconvenience. I very much appreciate that.. overall the food was fine just slightly cold because of the wait.

I went inside to order food for two elderly ladies in a nursing home. They do not have a person at the counter to take your, order only a kiosk, not user friendly. After 10 minutes of struggling, I finally placed my order. A cook actually did help me briefly. When we got the food to the nursing home, the burgers were lukewarm and the fries were soggy. It was only a 10 minute drive and I had placed in a thermal bag. I will not go back there unless I go to the drive-through with a person to take my order. They didn’t even put napkins in the to go bag.

I ordered a double garlic cheeseburger and they gave me a single, I ordered a combo and never received my fries. The bun was a regular bun not toasted and no garlic butter which really takes away from the taste profile. There was practically no sauce. It was so dry.
