The lemon-cured beef salad was incredible. Then we hesitated about the Pho. We asked our waiter, Diego, who gave an excellent recommendation with the garlicky pho. We had never tatsted this kîd of Pho before and it was a really good surprise. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, not too crowded (friday night around 8pm) and the staff was lovely! Thank you Diego, we’ll be back!

super Vietnamese authentic restaurant. love the local chains in London and this is added to my favorites list, had the bunbo hue which is super authentic and had all the meats along with the pho which was good. I think it was pretty decent but the bunbo hue overshown, and had the crispy crab parcel which was so delicious and like tasty from the first bite to the end and had the right sauce and crabbyness to it would definitely come back

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years as I work just around the corner. The menu has only ever become more interesting and the food better and better in that time. Today I had the £19:95 set lunch menu with the ‘piggy’ aubergine starter and Spring Bowl as a main course. The latter was improved over last time I had it, with lots of fresh raw herbs and greens and excellent crispy rolls on top. I really recommend Cay Tre for lunch: the service is brisk, the food is fresh, and very delicious.

Amazing experience. Foods are wholesome and absolutely delectable. I tried the shrimp spring rolls and grilled pork vermicelli, both were flavorful and satisfying.
The staff are friendly, especially Jules, who made a delicious drink and provided excellent service. The restaurant is clean, neat, and incredibly cozy.
I highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for an authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine.

As a Vietnamese living in London, Cay Tre is one of my top favourite Vietnamese restaurants. They have a wide ranges of Vietnamese food, the quality is really good and some dishes are close to home. The Cay Tre at Hoxton is smaller than the one in Soho, but still quite cosy vibe and good quality, albeit smaller menu than the other branch. I’d always recommend friends to visit at least once!

A nice evening meal with former work colleagues and this was recommended by a friend. Great call. A welcoming and warm dining room that’s small and nicely appointed. We were welcomed and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. The food was great and washed down with a nice Saigon lager which was refreshing and light. The friends recommendation was well received. Thanks to the staff front of house and back.

It’s been quiet awhile since I’ve been here, my friend brought me and NOPE it DIDN’T disappoint.

The staff were so nice and fast! Didn’t have to wait too long for the food, which gave us a chance to catch up without starving. We were FULL and I felt the nutrition of the food, that’s when you know you’re getting food made with love and attention.

I told others about it and I’m coming back soon! And to get more pics and videos for my reviews ‍↔️

Chicken wings must ordered! Tasted good. Overall had a great meal as we enjoyed everything we ordered. Recommend to have one soup (pho) and one dry dish (Vermicelli spring bowl) to enjoy different flavours.

Considering that it’s miles more expensive than any other Viet place in the area, the bun bo hue was just ok, not as tasty as I expected it to be for £18. Imperial rolls £9.50. The waiter walks around with a water jug but did not refill my glass even once until I asked him to when I got the bill.

Great Vietnamese food!
They have more options than your average Vietnamese eatery.
It’s a bit fancier than most “home cooking” style places you’ll find as well.
Walked in for the decor and I did not regret this. ✨️
The manager Kin was very welcoming
