Food was really good for being such a busy food truck as you sometimes see quality fall off because they are trying to push out food, but that was not the case for pitstop. We did wait a good 30 minutes for a food on top of the 10 to 20 minutes waiting in line so definitely be prepared to wait but personally, I think it’s a place you should stop at when you’re in the area. The prices were definitely not hateful, especially for such a touristy area which you would expect to pay a good amount for food anyways. The fries were really good as well as everything has solid flavor. I will say the Horchata felt a bit watered down, but I might be biased, considering I’m going off of traditional Horchata flavor of the Latin countries. Regardless everything else was good quality and fresh would definitely stop by again. The pictures aren’t the best of quality since it was nighttime and we were also Tryna enjoy the food since we waited so long for it and it smelled really good. I did enjoy the pork slider and fries as well as their in house hot sauce, which were in these nice Lalo bottles. The guy taking our orders which I think is the owner was very nice and offered great suggestions as well as tips on how he likes to eat everything and was really down to earth, even through the busy environment.

If you’re in Waikiki and love finding those hidden-gem food trucks, Pit Stop Hawaii is a must-try.

This is one of those spots you’d totally miss if you weren’t looking — but once you find it, you get it.

We tried the pork taco, Kalua pork fries, and the cheeseburger slider and everything was so good.
The pork was juicy and full of flavor, the fries were loaded and messy in the best way, and the slider was cheesy, comforting, and hit the spot.

On top of that, the service was 5/5 — friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better.

It feels like a true local food truck: no frills, just really good food and good vibes. Perfect after a beach day or when you’re craving something satisfying.

5/5 — would absolutely come back again.
When you’re in Hawaii, the best food is always at the hidden spots

Wow, this food truck blew me away. It was outstandingly good. Chips and Salsa were insane — JUST fried and seasoned chips plus perfectly spicy salsa. Cheeseburgers slider was also delicious and featured ‘crispy’ cheese. Fries were double fried for that extra crispy texture, and also featured their ‘crisp’ cheese. Chef Vincent brought the food right to us with a huge smile. So glad we came here.

The tacos are 10/10, and I highly recommend. We got the cheeseburger based on other reviews, but it was pretty “meh”. The lemonade was also a winner, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would go back any time for the tacos.

The place is hidden & quite popular. We went there to check it out based on the reviews here, and we were a bit disappointed. While it’s true that the food portion is rather generous and the pork taco is quite decent, the other tacos weren’t great and we had to wait for basically 45-1hr before we could eat.

We ordered steak, fish and pork tacos and a 1/2lb of fries. The fries were a bit overcooked, aka burnt. The steak taco had basically cold meats and fish taco was lukewarm. The pork taco was super hot, which was great. We think it would have been even better if there were some pineapple garnishes on it.

We had the most amazing meal here. Its easy to miss since it’s in the back of the main road. The line was long but so worth the wait as the food is 10/10 one if the best meals on the island. The soda is homemade and so clean and refreshing. The sliders are large and the homemade hot sauce is phenomenal.

Another day trip to Oahu meant trying to find a new place to eat. I remember seeing an Instagram reel about this food truck and decided to go for it.

It is tucked away in an alley and you can easily miss it especially with the construction going on at the moment on the surrounding buildings.

Went simple with just their burger, a horchata and a side of slaw. That messy looking burger is honestly the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Flavors were so balanced and the side of house made slaw had the right about of sour acidity to keep the juicy fatty burger in check. I thought I was going to hate the sweet Hawaiian bun used for it but it worked so well with the patty and cheese and everything else inside.

I wanted to order another burger but I had to restrain myself because I had other places to try. Even after flying home the next day I couldn’t help but crave that burger.

Food is awesome – the cheese skirt burger is so good. Chicago dog is spot on (we’re from the Midwest). Tacos were super solid, pork was the best. Hidden food truck vive is great and out of the chaos of the main strip, still gets busy because it’s great!

These guys have food truck figured out 110%! Absolutely the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve had, the REAL potato fries with fried cheese are a potato lover’s dream, but I’m here to tell you this burger was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Perfect combo of cheese, sauce with sauted onions, pickles, and fried cheese on a sweet bun that holds it all together. You also get the coolest dudes whipping up the best food on the island! Mahalo for finding my $50 and so much Aloha! PS get some duct tape on there

Fresh hand made fries, they have complicated and unique process of making it. They soak it in vinegar, then freeze and later fry on high temperature. Must try!
burger was yummy, pork tacos is big. Very fast service. Worth stopping by!
