Went thru drive thru and made an order also stated we had a mobile order
They said we had to go around thru the drive thru AGAIN to get the mobile order
We asked the guy at the 2nd window if he could possibly hand us the mobile order
He told us we had to go around the drive thru again or could come in. I walked inside, they refused to hand me the mobile order and said I HAD to go thru the drive thru
Then we go back to the drive thru and they tell me the order was canceled cuz it was after breakfast!
Manager refused to help
Wouldn’t give us the order
Wasn’t trying to refund
Wouldn’t even give her NAME!!
I think whoever owns this dump should train their ppl better!!

2 out of my last 3 curbside orders I have had to go in and get my food, First time I waited 30 minutes and when I received my food order it was missing items. This last time I waited 10 minutes before I had to go in, the ONLY thing I ordered was a Large Coke with No Ice, You can’t get an easier order than that, It should have been out in a minute or two, yet I had to go inside to get it after ten minutes. Staff needs to be MUCH better trained!!!!!! This location is NOT recommended!!!!!

Like every other Buccifero family McDonald’s, do NOT show up after 9:00 p.m.!!!! You will wait more than half an hour in the Drive-Thru !!!!

This is by far the worst McDonald’s in Illinois. The staff is extremely rude & when asked to speak with a manager the rudest person in the restaurant is the one claiming to be the manager. I would rather drive 2.5 miles to the next location then ever deal with the ignorant staff here. They really need to retrain these people or close this place down. Not to mention they don’t repeat the order back or give u a total. Then proceeds to argue with me about what I ordered after she messed my order up.

Constantly messing up orders, lazy and slow staff, it makes me want to avoid all Bucciferro McDonald’s, which is almost all of them in Rockford. 11:30pm Im sick, I’ve worked 8 hours, I pull up to drive thru with a code, Im told to hold, THREE other cars get there orders taken, whom arrived after me. I pull to window, just to be told I need to go through drive thru!!! Then to tell me they dont have the items ordered even though the mobile app let me order them! So why not cancel the order or call me!?!? Never again will I order from here for sure, the cherry was the worker who called me a jackass for making her wait for my order to be cancelled, you coulda been playing catch up boo for them 10 other cars behind me, id have used me as an excuse if I were you ‍♀️

I have been to Dick’s McDonald’s on multiple occasions because I am new to the area and I have to shop with the businesses that are surrounding my new home. I have noticed that on many occasions this business will allow you to sit in line without taking orders in hopes of you driving off so that they don’t have to work. Sometimes I work a late shift. They have to come in overnight. That’s when I have the problems most of the time. But I have been sitting in line at this very moment because there are limited restaurants in the area and I need to eat. This is the place that I come to even though I have experienced bad service. It is 12:38 and I have been sitting here for 20 minutes and have not had my order taken. If there is a manager or owner reading this review, please make some changes for the people that are supporting your business and keeping it open

I work 13 hours over night i order a coffee every night at 8:30 doors lock at 8:45 every night i go on lunch at 1:30 am The system is down every morning ridiculous. I literally do not understand if the system was down I would not be able to do a mobile order.
yall need new people for 2nd and 3rd shift the morning shift would never but the food good when ever im able to get it

I would not advise to go here. I ordered on the app and paid for it through the app. I waited 25 minutes to get my food. I went to the bathroom there was no toilet paper in the bathroom was just completely disgusting. The manager running the night shift I asked her if they were hiring she said yeah. She tried to tell me a vanilla shake cost more than a frappe. I ordered a frappe through the app and they were out of anything frappe wise. So she offered me a vanilla shake. Mind you this was for my granny this frappe. I asked her if I can have the difference back because the vanilla shake is cheaper than the frappe she gave me the vanilla shake would not give me a refund and told me I had to take the shake or I’m not getting a refund. The Fry’s we’re cold. This manager ignored me after I confronted her and said the vanilla shake cost less than the frappe and I would like to difference back refunded. Due to them being out of everything Hi-C, front page and a few other beverages. She ignored me as if I was not a customer. I reported it to the McDonald’s franchise where is coupons to be mailed to me. To me to get a sorry and offered coupons that’s disrespectful. What’s the point of having the app mail coupons. The night shift manager does not deserve to be working she is highly unqualified.

Close that place I have sat down and ate quicker than going here. I’ve over curbside and 45 50 min later the food comes out. You would think the food would be fresh after the long wait, you would be wrong cold and missing items I truly hate going to this one

I waited in the drive through for 30 min for an old left out burger…. go to literally any other location if you want safe edible food. This location regularly has awful service after 12:00pm.

Edit 04/22/25 – ive raised my rating as the second shift at this mcdonalds seems to be improving! I stopped in at 6:45pm and was served quickly and the food was fresh, even got a free oreo mcflurry.
