My first time to eat at Roy’s, definitely won’t be my last.
I had the 6 piece chicken chunks, potato wedges and sweet tea.
Perfect seasoning, temperature and nice and moist.
I’ll make it a regular lunch stop.

Some of the Best Fried Chicken….Anywhere!
Excellent, fresh, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside fried chicken served with delicious sides. Their drive through service is fast even though there always seems to be a long line. We were there at 2PM, and there were 8 cars in front of us. The line moved quickly. We took home a couple of tasty three piece dinners and some extra sides. The ladies working the drive through window are super nice. A great clean place to enjoy some traditional fried chicken and the fixings.

Went for an early dine-in lunch. Had the bone-in chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Service was super fast that time of day. Texture-wise, this was the most well-prepared fried chicken I’ve ever had. Hot, super crispy and moist. But I found it missing seasoning. Very little in the batter and nothing once you get past the skin. Mashed potatoes also very bland. I won’t say the coleslaw was bad, but the style wasn’t to my liking. If you like your coleslaw HEAVY on the mayo you might find it wonderful. Overall, I think I’ll probably go again, but try something different.

Had an excellent lunch with the chicken chunk lunch some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. The only thing I was hoping was that when the meal is offered that he would be assumed or included price with the drink that made me pay twice two transactions instead of just one because I thought thatmeal came with the drink but other than that, this place is fabulous

Great fried chicken. That was definitely fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also really enjoyed the fried livers, which were probably some of the freshest liver’s i’ve ever had. Great sides with my favorite being the slaw.
Solid place. We drove here from Tulsa. for a birthday dinner.

We moved to Coweta and have seen this place. We were told it was just like a Charlie’s chicken. My son and I tried it, and it wasn’t bad. The chunks were fresh and not dry. The only problem was that it didn’t have any seasoning on the chunks.
We will go again and try something else they have. Still nice to have a place like this in the small town.

Big open barn type style of decor. Great fried chicken! Cole slaw was amazing. Hubby had chicken fried steak and no leftovers there. We went to Coweta to try it, but they’re building another Roy’s in Jenks! Can’t wait to try!

Cute decor, nice big open feel. The food is delicious, however you really only go for the chicken right? Friendly and fast service, even if the drive thru line is very long. My husband wanted to try the cobbler, but they were out when we went.

Well, what a lovely surprise to have finally run into Roy’s Chicken.

I can’t count how many times I’ve seen this place, and yet, for some reason, I never stopped by—until now. Let me be very clear: I did not wake up this morning thinking, “Today, I’m going to eat at Roy’s Chicken.” Not at all. Like most days, I figured I’d just pick a random spot for lunch.

But today, as I wrapped up work near the intersection where Roy’s bold sign stands out, something nudged me—just a feeling that said, Go. So I did, finally, after all these years.

Now, I’ll admit—I didn’t wake up thinking I’d fall in love again. My heart already belongs to my wife. But little did I know Roy’s Chicken would sneak a small piece of it… and make me fall for chicken all over again.

To be honest, I’ve never been a big fan of chicken. Maybe I just hadn’t found the right place—until now. What a revelation.

FOOD:

The food—specifically the chicken—was amazing. I don’t know what kind of magic they work back there, but I’ve never had chicken quite like this. There’s only one other place in the entire metro area where I’ll eat chicken, but out of respect for Roy’s, I won’t name it here.

SERVICE:

The service was… average. Not bad, not great. I came in late, and I could tell the ladies working were running low on energy after a long shift. They weren’t rude by any means—just worn out. Understandably so. It was still a decent experience overall.

ATMOSPHERE:

I thought the atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated, with a sense of openness and fresh energy that makes it feel like a fun place to eat.

I did notice the floors were a bit messy, likely from a busy rush earlier in the day. It didn’t feel dirty—just well-used. I almost took my food to go, but I wanted to sit, take it in, and get a feel for the place. I wasn’t the only one either—seemed like there were a few other first-timers doing the same. Roy’s might just be one of those places that people hear about and finally decide they need to check out for themselves.

FINAL THOUGHT:

If I had one suggestion, it’d be about the location. The parking situation feels a bit cramped, especially being right next to QuikTrip, which can get hectic. It’s not ideal and could potentially cause some headaches—but it’s already built, and you learn to live with it.

None of that, however, will keep me from coming back. In fact, the impression Roy’s Chicken made on me today has me wanting to return—and become a regular.
