Visited Mirchi Nation with a group of three and we really enjoyed the buffet experience! The food was overall so good—while a couple of items were just okay (‘not bad’), the rest were really delicious. It is totally worth the price at $28 per person for over 20 items.
I highly recommend this place for a buffet outing with friends. We were also really satisfied with the service; the staff was kind, friendly, and very nice to customers. Will be back

The worst dosa I’ve ever had in my life. Do not waste your money.

Let me explain:
– All the dosa’s we ordered were served cold
– The sambhar was literally water, why would you ever serve this
– The podi dosa has no flavour, podi is supposed to be flavourful and spicy. This was neither.
– The kachori chaat had no kachori, it was all just chickpeas with some chutney.
– Asked for dosa masala on side, they said they can’t do that. Why not? Then finally they gave in.
– Asked for onions in the dosa, they said they didn’t have onions. But they added onions to our chaat? Made no sense.
– Masala in dosa was also cold and flavourless.

Overall, cold and flavourless food. Disgrace to the South Indian community.

I had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was flavorful, authentic, and clearly made with care. Each dish was well-spiced without being overpowering, and the portions were generous. The menu offered a great variety of North and South Indian options, making it easy to find something for everyone.

The staff was warm, attentive, and happy to explain dishes or make recommendations, which made the experience even better. The ambiance was clean, comfortable, and welcoming—perfect for both casual dining and special occasions.

Overall, this is an excellent spot for authentic Indian food, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone craving quality Indian cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I was really excited to try the ghee podi idly, but it didn’t work for me. The idly felt rubbery instead of soft and fluffy, the ghee tasted a bit low-quality, and the karam podi was overwhelmingly strong. This is just my personal experience, but I hope the restaurant can improve the texture of the idly and use better ghee to make the flavors more enjoyable

Best dosas in New England! If you’ve been to India you’ll get nostalgic. If you love Indian food you’ll be happy and your belly will thank you. And you’ll love the sauces and desserts as well.
Friendly and helpful staff, relaxed and happy environment, and fast service.
Highly recommended!

I ordered through Uber Eats, but I immediately called and spoke with a representative from the restaurant and asked her to make sure the food was not spicy. I repeated it several times, even in simple English, but they still brought very spicy food — they even put a whole hot pepper in it.

“If you’re looking for authentic and fresh Indian food, Mirchi Nation is the place to go! We really enjoyed our visit. The South Indian dosa was perfectly crispy, and the biryani was some of the best we’ve had—so fragrant and tasty. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh. 5 stars!”

Excellent biryani indian food! Their curry leaf chicken/pepper fry and chicken shahensha are also tasty! Love their chicken 65, old city chicken briyani. However, their portion is quite inconsistent. Someday I got biryani to the brim someday it’s only half-filled. I wish they could be more consistent. But taste wise it’s amazing and flavorful.

Holy moly it’s so bad…

Butter Chicken (1/10): this didn’t taste like anything besides butter. There was so much butter that the intensity of it was burning into my tongue. I really can’t have more than a few bites of this. The chicken was so dry, too. Rice was below average.

Nizami Chicken Dum Biryani (1/10): I thought the butter chicken was dry, but this chicken tasted like it came out of a desiccator in the center of the sun. Holy moly this chicken was almost inedible. The rice was pretty bad, lacking in flavor. The sauces were fine, but also unnecessary. They really didn’t pair that well with the biryani.

Worst butter chicken AND worst biryani I’ve had in my life. I hit the jackpot today. At least the portion sizes are big. Prices are reasonable (if the food were actually edible).

I got this recommendation from the r/Boston subreddit. I’ve now learned my lesson.

I order from here at least once a month if not more, and service/food is always exceptional. Staff are incredibly friendly and courteous, and the food is top notch. Personal favorites are Gobi 65 and their Biryani – too good.
